i remember a few days ago in ra, we were at about 6 - 0, which was then when the person said "stupid noobs i hate noobs who dont even use real chars wtf pvp char noobs"
all of our team members in team chat at the same time said "wtf?" when another said "wow, thats a new one, griping about pvp chars"
but yeah that really is a new one, i can understand the "spirit spammers" or the dual monks and touchers, but over a pvp char instead of a pvp one? just wtf
oh yeah another was when i was in droks, i was running through the town on a farm run, when from one of the players i see
xxxx: i just scammed someone to get here
xxxx: aaaaahahah
i was lmao for a while, just at how someone can do that and actually feel its something to brag about
before i zoned a couple players were already telling him stuff along the lines of "are you proud of that?"
still, lmao @ that

Well, the reason might be they DON'T want to trade and therefor are not interested in reading a lot of trade messages. Ever thought of that? Using W TS or W.T.S or whatever in the "all" channel means you actively dodge ANets redirecting of trade messages. The channels help me filter messages, which was just the reason ANet introduced the filter for WTS/ WTB tokens.
So you choose to annoy a lot of people (me included) because you think your sell messages are more important then their expressed will not to get them, which makes you a *guess what?*
Had such a jerk in Droks lately, spamming the common channel with his macroed, unwanted offers. Any given time half of the chat section was covered with his trade stuff. I asked him nicely to change to trade channel, he even asked why and got an explanation, but he choose to keep spamming after all. Was a pain to enter the jerk into my ignore list, because his name consisted only of one letter multiple times. ANet, please let us just copy the jerks into the list! And another nice feature might be action against those common channel spammers, because they actively choose to annoy people.

I don't Ignore Jerks I report them much more fun >= )
But RA is the home to all jerks the most annyoing thing that drives me up the wall is when you get penalized for having FoW armor on during a match I remeber a paticualr game when I think we had 2 warrior (including me) and he had normal warrior suit Glads with asclaon boots and me with my FoW, this little wiedy looking Necro comes running in and constalty putting hexes on me so I think at first ok he's doing his job...but even when he's under attack im still getting cast on lol People with personal hatred towards FoW people gets on my nerves. OH but just so people don't get the wrong Idea no I don't report people like that just mostly scammers or people wispering me insults over and over again oh and flooders.
Anouther one was one of the shiverpeak missions one of the very last ones before you get to the ring of fire, there was this one guy and he was a grade A controll freak I think he was a warrior to...anyway he was consatanly telling everyone how bad they were doing and how they won't get far in the game the way their going and constatly directing us on the mini map...so we get to the end part when loads of giants, white mantle and mersatt strom the keep and he was telling us all to stay were the king was and not to move course we died and it was our fault
Oh and I hate people that use the word Noob as an insult they are pure scum, when has a new player learning the ropes been a jerk? Its like some guy going up to a baby and calling it a prick for trying to learn how to talk for the first time
"da da?" "OMFG IT'S DAD NOOB (HITS BABY)"

Well for one you where previously talking to him and you know you can copy and paste from that box that contains his name into your ignore list. Its also an other quick way to add someone to group to just copy and paste their name into the add member box when making groups.
Shortkeys are ctrl + C to copy and ctrl + V to paste.
So the feature you're asking for is already there.

Well, a month or so ago, I was trying to sell a Sunreach's shield for about 90-100k. This guy PM'ed me about me overpricing it, and this convo ensued (it's missing the first few lines, which were him blabbering about overpricing):
He basically tried to use some stupid ass logic about Crystallines, and then went on about ratios and all that crap. Does it really hurt that bad to just "feck off"?

This was an odd one:
Cap group in Snake Dance
We pick up a monk in Camp Rankor. He tells us he's a 55. Once we get out he tells us we need to kill the heretics because degen and shatter enchant kills him quick. We do for a while, then he agros a heretic group.
Me:... I thought you were going to wait for us to kill the heretics before you rushed in...
Him: You really have never played this game before have you?
Me: ROFL, and i got Camp Rankor on my map and grotto to get 15k armor HOW?
Him: Ebay.
Me: Even if I used Ebay, which i never did, bannable offense. I would have had to play at least to get the runs to camp rankor and grotto... Who are you to call me an ebayer, a 55 monk who rushes a degen/shatter enchant mesmer?
Himnothing)
So we get to the place where he wants to cap Spell Breaker, it's the wrong boss, he leaves. Now this is the face of a true noob. He wasn't a COMPLETE jerk by all means, but it was kind of stupid to tell us to kill heretics then rush one and die.

This morning I was getting one of my Factions characters run to Droknar's Forge, and I had a few interesting encounters.
Now, the runner I was using was quite talented, but he apparently forgot to screen us all before setting off. When we got to Snake's Dance (where we were supposed to make the first payment) one of the customers had no gold on him, and refused to leave, instead repeatedly zoning in and out of Dreadnought's Drift. Our runner got frustrated and restarted the run.
This time our runner screened the new customer, a W/R 20. I was a bit suspicious, but we zoned out. The W/R was obviously another runner, and for awhile it appeared that he was just learning the route. However, as our runner approached the portal the W/R ran to the side and pulled a huge mob down on him. Since our runner had just emerged from the massive mob at the end, he had little health left and died quickly. The W/R announced that he was running the Forge for a cheaper price than the runner we were paying for and refused to zone until the original guy left. This ticked me off, but I then remembered the tactics of th first jerk. I whispered the first runner my plan, and he agreed to wait for me in Beacon's Perch, then left. When the W/R continued the run, I repeatedly zoned in and out of the Drift until the W/R rage-quit. I then went back and the original guy ran me to Droks, again flawlessly.
I conclusion, I pwn jerks. Muah hah hah.

That was a great action lol! Shows him!
Respect the people who know how to run Droks!
I've run it about 20 times, and I'm no pro, I usually need a few tries at the starting area, but I can do it. I hate people calling me a noob and shouting all kinds of abuse just cuz I didn't make it flawlessly in 1 run. Sheesh! Go try it yourself then! It used to be easier back in the days... Hell, I'm no pro, but I can get you there, you know? How hard is it to show a little respect.
I've stopped running Droks because of people expecting flawless runs, abuse, namecalling, and especially people shouting N00b at the first little mishap.
You might have guessed it, I've said it before and I'll say it again:
Biggest Jerks in GW are people calling others n00bs all the time. That gets my blood boiling... It's a GAME for chrissake! Meant to be FUN! Stop being pathetic and enjoy yourself!

Plenty more Wammo/mending style vids there. Here is another snippet of jerkiness I found in the Dragon festival. What a way to ask for money.

Once again RA griefer / idiot trying to piss ppl off
Hi,
OK. We all know RA can be the home of some complete jerks. I just met another one who thinks it is just absolutely hilarious to piss ppl off.
Idiot in this case = N/R build:
1) cast EOE
2) cast Frozen Earth
3) sacrifice and kill self with Necro skill
4) stay the rest of the game and provoke / make stupid comments to the rest of the team.
Yeah you are pretty funny you monkey.

75 gold?? how.... er...
Well what I've seen looking at this thread looking at jerks it never ceases to amaze me that:
1. They haven't learned good proper english in classes, [referring to X's post, overpircing... wt...??]
2. They think they know better than everyone else... they DON'T, and
3. They try and get a "gang" online... but they can't, since the increasing stupidity of those are NOT MENTALLY ABLE to use a keyboard seems to go on this game.
I'm sorry if this causes offence, but I have had the sheer audacity to sometimes come on GW and see about 1/64th of people screwing the rulebook up just for arrogance, get lost, and play runescape where you ALL BELONG!!!
>Sjeng I had a person who couldn't seem to get it right for a few Beacons/Droks runs, but I held in there, and after she did it, I gave her some leftover gold that I didn't need... so um... if you want to run me when I get enough money I'll be happy to do so

Ah, many a jerk I have seen. It's safe for me to say that 40-50% of players I meet in PUGs are of pure jerkness. Most notably was this certain ranger. I think we were doing a mission in the Jade (Gyala Hatchery). Wow, I've seen arrogant players, but this one took the take. This is what his dialogue consisted of:
-(While endlessly clicking and drawing on compass) "z0mFG do da glich!1" (NPC said turtle clan move out) "**** now it's ****ed up. n00bs god u guys r idots."
-(During fighting) "Wow you should see how much dmg i'm doin like 150 dmg each hit. i am awesome better than you ghey wars"
-(Once he realized he was a ranger and shouldn't be the first to charge into a fight) "OmfGz 2 munks can't even hea fo **** no0b this team sux" /ragequit.
I didn't make any of this up. This was actual dialogue. Fortunately after he left us, we proceeded to complete the mission peacefully w/o any leet rangers.

This guy was a jerk. He kept spamming everyone, as you may know.
And after you help him, he doesn't even say "thanks."
