In all of the UW groups I've been in in the past, oh, three weeks, the other monk has dropped out about halfway through the run.

I've been the only monk healing a group of six others.

I'm a proter, so it actually works pretty well so long as I have a good tank, but it really pisses me off when people leave. Why? because it means it makes my job a lot harder and gives me a lot more stress-- not to mention that it's hard convincing people that if we're slow and careful, we can do it with just me proting (and using Dwayna's as my only heal device).

Lol! Oh, how sweet. Was PvPing with my Monk in Yak's bend and came across some really ignorant and hostile warriors... since i'm no photoship wiz, and am quite lazy, i'll just post what they said here. (Also, there were some non-nice things said during this arguement).

Everything in Parenthesis, wasn't said. And sorry about all the censors in it, I don't want to get into trouble with the Admins or anything... Also, I left out the names, because I wasn't sure of forum policies, i'd be glad to shout out the guy's name, though

a story of my own:

the setting: CA. i was getting tired of getting run over in Tombs while trying to get into a successful IWAY group. (yes, IWAY. it's the only way rank 0 people like me can get into a group.) so, i get into a group with 2 rangers (me and another), a necromancer and an elementalist. it so happens that the ele drops on us. so, i say "yay us!" and laugh at our predicament. here goes:

i just wonder why the hell he's smack talking when it's a 3v4. we get run over in a couple minutes...err, seconds and he calls us noobs for losing. typical. re-zone to CA...re-enter comp arenas.

The Biggest Jerk I've ever met? Well well well! IT'S A TIE!

It goes between [name] and some monk I was with in FoW.

First off; [name] is all gungho, I thought i'd like him. Then when I tell him I need to know mission and bonus for the mission we were on because I've never been there, he simply looks at me, says, "WTF NOOB GET THE <BLEEP!> OUT OF MY GROUP LOSER ASS LMAO LEAVE NOW" and boots me. What gets me is the hypocrisy of it all. He hard to start sometime too, and now with his pertulant grammar and 8 year oldish AOL speak, he's told me, a veteran of the game, that I'm a newb? Hello Ignore list. Then he went on to flame me in general chat because my guildmate was there with me and she relayed everything he said. It wasn't very pleasant. Which begs to be asked; some people are just natural assholes, they can't help it, but this guy was trying way to hard to achieve something he already had: Ignorance.

PEOPLE LIKE THE AFOREMENTIONED SHOULD BE PUBLICLY EXECUTED. Sorry for the caps, but I felt I needed to get my point across. They should summarily be shot execution style.

The other one, a monk in FOW, only had 38 mana..and he repeatedly aggroed things and wiped group members <how we made it through startles yes, even me. But we did, and he kept running to aggro things the opposite direction, he was ripping on our healers for "doing a suck job, these healers suck" i believe are his actual words, and then, when he dies, he wonders why the hell he didn't get rezzed or healed? Big Wonder!

But other then that, thankfully even the 8-9yo AOL spammers with "NooB" and whatnot have steered clear of me. I hope they continue to do so.

I guess this one wasn't someone being a jerk as much as thinking they were. I was going to cap Glad's Defense from Dragon's Den. I was just going to take henchies (like I always do), but since I'm going all the way to the end, I figure I'll ask if someone who needs the mission wants to come along for the ride. So I advertise that and immediately I get a response from someone who turns out to be a monk.

I ask if he's capping so I know not to get too close to the portals and he says he is. We start and have no troubles at all. I wait for him to cap the monk skill on the first board before we hit the portal to the next one. We do the ranger one too, and start just after we zone to the third one he drops.

"Oh well" I think. He must have got a net error or something - well I'm not very far I'll ask if he wants me to restart so he can get the mission. And I get "SillyMonksName is ignoring you". I just had to laugh. I guess he was trying to be a jerk and thought I'd be pissed at him or something I dunno.

I was pvping in the tombs today (as one of my mesmers) and we had a fairly good team, but we lost out just before we got to the hall so we go back, suprise suprise some of the team drop. But we carry on and rebuild the team with new players of the same profession. We were trying to form a build to counter IWAY which involved almost every proffesion, and it worked rather well. But the new group wasn't too good, we die and start again - more drops so we rebuild once more and pick up The Jerk. Now I notice that The Jerk is in the same guild as the guy above me on the team list (and I'm 3rd). We go in and die after a few valiant bouts (where I'm normally one of the last ones alive dealing damage, The Jerk and his friend are almost always first to go - with their pumpkin head armour which they refused to remove claiming "it infused'!). Soon as we respawn in the outpost the current team leader says he has to go and leaves gracefully. Then the Jerk says we should form an IWAY group (him and his now in charge guild mate are W/R) and people are being booted left right and centre and only the monks are kept, but before I get a chance to say "Hang on, this build works" or even "WTF?" The Jerk screams "Boot the Mesmer, boot the mesmer!!" And lo I was booted.

The story continues but its not about jerks until later, we reformed our team but without any W/R it really didn't work so as we managed to get past the ghosts (no morale) we were all joking saying that we were the worst team ever to get this far and would be slaughterd no matter who we came across. So imagine the horror when we are drawn against a Korean Guild Team with the Guild Rank: 1. We did pretty well but still lost. We tried again and guess who we came against... thats right guild rank 1. And died again...but faster!

Now we zone back in at the outpost and who's there madly looking for healer and mesmers claiming to have "The ultimate anti-IWAY build"? Thats right, The Jerk and co. I noted that some of my team went into the public chat and started flaming him for stealing our idea but I kept back. They tried to invite me to their group and when I said no The Jerk pm'ed me: "FFS WHY NOT STUPID MESMER? U NOW HOW THIS WORKS!!" To which I replied "Sorry, but I thought you said boot the mesmer.. not invite the mesmer" and ignored him - and then noted that he was no longer asking for mesmers for his group. Meanwhile in the public chat The Jerk's guildie was moaning on at my team (now in a full swing flaming battle) until one of my team said "Well at least we got to play the no.1 guild" To which The Jerk's friend replied: "Of course they didn't They're funking (or something like that

) rubbish like everyone here" I then noticed that his team size dropped from 6 to 2 and our team got a huge number of invites (including them - suffice to say we didn't accept them).

And thats the end of my entry for longest story about a jerk,

mmmkay .... it goes lime this ... im at TA (needed 300 sumthing faction to ulock batle rage for a new build i wuz testing) so im using my Me/E (fast echoe fire nuker) and this guy (one of them original w/mo with medning) come to me after raming in towards the enmy monk, no doing dramage at all dying and almost loosing the batle (luckilly i had some domination spells on me) ... welll he says !!!

2 matches after that ... the guy its in my enemy team ... he has one healing monk one prot/smiter and a ranger /necro with him and in my party we have one prot monk, one w/monk a ranger and me Me/e ....... of course i target him first (yes even first than the monk) .... LOL ur never gonna guess what the guy kept doing .....!!!!
he was casting hundred blades on me constantly with a vmapiric BUT THERE WAS NO ONE ARROUD!!! and i casted and echoed metoer shwer and castedf phantom pain on him ... he jsutstayed there (his monks wew busy by my ranger and war LOL) ..... the guy still dosnt move .. (by this time the metos have stoped and hes stil lhave some live) LOL so get some mana from his enchantment and archane echoe 2 fire storms ........ and the guy (seeing that hes about to die) STARTS DANCING!!!!!!!! and saying ... this odnst mean ur better than me ... its just that the monks in my team are noobs!!!!

Biggest jerk.. gotta be the evil ele..

We were in UW, and he was clearly inexperienced. He constantly whined about the drops, and had preciely no energy management skills, to the extent I called him on it (I was playing my ele at the time so hope I know what I'm talking about). He said that he preferred having more room for "booms"

Anyway.. we'd been there about an hour, were doing pretty well despite him, and had just finished wrathful spirits. He then spies a chest past the coldfires in the area past the reaper, and runs for it, and dies. We kill some and res him.

So far.. you'd say idiot rather than jerk.

He then says, "Well I gotta go and you are ************** so."

And proceeds to round up all the coldfires and trains them onto the party and the reaper while we were still recovering from the previous battle.

Reaper dies..

Basically we were in a random PUG the other night, and got to the end of the Borlis Pass mission without incident really, where someone in the group picks up an enchanted torch and has to light a beacon. Well, the guy who picked up the torch refused to light the beacon, unless we paid him 3K!

I thought he was joking, but he wasn't. We pleaded with him for a few minutes, until finally it degraded into insults and such between some of the party members. It was so childish it was almost funny - the guy with the torch taunted us by dropping the torch a couple times, and then picking it up again before we could take it.

Anyway, I had had enough after 10 minutes or so, and I whispered politely to the guy that I was sorry, but I was going to report him to support.guildwars.com, and he replied: "I don't care. But I will light the beacon if you pay me 1K". I just quit the mission at the point, logged out, and reported him like I said I would, even though I felt like a narc afterward.
