Lag!
Okay, what the hell is with all the sodding lag on the Euro servers at the moment?
I keep rubberbanding, and combat is a deathtrap.
It only seems to be this bad during the daytime, but it has been like this for a few days now.
Seriously, not funny any more.
I think someone needs to take a look at their servers, make sure they haven't been replaced by older, dodgier PCs.
I've never had such consistently bad lag whilst playing GW before, although I will say that when I was playing on US servers they were noticeably less laggy than Euro servers.
Is ANet taking the cheap route or something?

Try going onto international districts, that could solve the lag until it fixed. I had some lag recently too where it would take up to a full minute to load a map.

I also am getting very sick of all the lag. It's irritating when support keeps saying look at my own internet connections when I know for a fact it's not me. Last couple of days it's been affecting me and people in my guild accross the country at the same time. Don't tell me it's my internet connection. I'm a little irritated, can you tell?

It's making almost anything impssible to do at the moment.
I can't group with people as I'm sure I'll let them down at the wrong moment, I can't run anywhere because I'll get lag killed by mobs whilst I'm rubber-banding, I can't do ANYTHING.
It damn well ain't my connection either as Fear plays fine as do other games, and I have no problems loading web pages.
Are more people online because of the school holidays and ANet didn't take that into account when building their European server farm?

Just had a 007 error, and was checking my network usage tab in the task manager whilst it was happening. Whilst it was happening, my internet connection was still active but network usage dropped to 0.17-0.12%.
And that was after I connected to the international districts :|

It's where you jump between locations whilst not able to do anything.
Any skills that you're activating take forever to activate, and you can continue running, but you may bounce back 100 feet or so completely at random, then back to where the bounce started, etc.

For me and my guild this has been happening a lot more just in the past week? What's up ANET? I don't usually have problems with lag. Rubberbanding is the most annoying thing in the world.

I was having it last night in Raisu Palace (American Server). I was seriously thinking I was going to err 7 out and warned my team mates. Turned out they were having it too. We managed to finsh with Expert and missed Masters by 40 seconds. Imagine if we hadn't been lagging so badly.

Sort of what I ment lol, and also you type something, and text appears a few seconds after typing.
Occasionally you freeze, you can still type, everyone around you is frozen, when you press enter after typing no text comes out, you use a skill, it swirls, then you hear an error click, I hate that, but you can move, but just spin round, no moving forward.
Anyone ever had that?
It happens alot round beacons perch and this PvP arena I've been in in random arenas once.

Yeah I remember when the lag first came...
It wasnt just my own internet connection.
Was playing AB with a few of my guildmates on TS, and at some point my friends said over TS that they were lagging out while I was fine. Then I watched that WITHIN ONE SECOND 8 people simultaniously disconnected from the AB. Somehow a few of us were left, but Im not sure why.
I think ANET wanted to increase the difficulty by having 007 agents working round in the shadows of GW >.>

Can we get a comment from Gaile/Alex on the lag since the last weekend event? Something is clearly happening on the Anet side.

This is becoming absolutly rediculous...i can pin point it back to that so called "weekend of double fun"...try weekend of double/triple insane lag issues.
I have Never had problems lagging in guildwars as much as i have in the past few weeks. Yes maybe i got a 007 once a week but now i am getting the 3-4 times a day. U lag wen u walk..u warp back to ur start location when u are running, u sit there spin around in circles while ur skills are activating, or u just drop and it tells me to check MY internet connect. It is becoming a huge hassle just to play this game now, and if this continues into nightfall release idk if im going to buy it. JUST FILL US IN ANET, is there a problem with your servers and if so.... update the guildwars website with the lag issues.
Ive had enough of this and its becoming stupid to me to even start something because i will either lag out or warp around the map and aggro everything. PLEASE HELP US
