When playing with henches it is not as easy as it sounds the Krytan one as one mention use riposte and seeking blade and Stefan anf Thom have a hard time with that. The scouts usually target Alesia and the brave target Orion if you bring him.The best thing is to walk as far ahead and then pull way back 1 group target the wise then scouts and finally the brave. It is best to have a protection Monk if you can or if you are on keep Orion alive so that his Firestorm will make tham scatter it would be nice if he had Meteor Showers.

The same for the lvl 20s if you are soloing just run thru them hit sprint or charge when you get close to them and rinse and repeat. The tough part is when leaving from Granite is the Summit Rangers who use Melandrus arrows shields up would help.when useing henchies it is not that easy unless you are patient which for the most part I am not it is easy when I play protection Monk.

You're really, really bad at GW. The Tengu can be annoying sometimes (Mineral Springs: IGNITE UP, DUAL SHOT IN 3... 2... 1...), but come on.

well you used to solo level 17 tengu outside riverside province so I dont really see tengu as overpowered...

Avicara are tengu, 55's kill them and they are level 24...

I think Prophecies hench are just really awful and their levels often inadequate to the areas adjacent to the outpost you start from.
The tengu are not that tough if you pick them every 2-3 alone, start with the tengu wild then the braves. I can do that with my ranger without hench so it shouldnt be hard. The problem with the aviacara are mainly the groups of fierce which assisst on one target and hit really hard. I took out 3 warriors with my R/N w/o problem [using ss, mark of pain and whirling defences]
About enemies being hard thats the way this game works. Take for example the Boreas Seabed mission in Factions. The Luxon bosses you fight against are tough but when u take them out as hench they are very weak.

"I like the southern shiverpeaks lol, there's always a way round avrica, and if skill capping, and tengu are in the way of a boss, go to another spawn location of the boss lol."

When you zone into Mineral Springs, you have to deal with two mobs of avicara, one rangers one warriors. Casters breaking line of sight get retargetted once they strafe out in the open and you have to contend with ignite arrow spike as well.

Just one example of how you can't just get around them all the time. But we are talking a zone with a handful of nice elites. So it shouldn't be easy

Analyze their skills, exploit their weakness, and watch them drop like flies. I remember the Tengu were great for rune farming when runes were actually worth something, and the Avicara are a fun solo challenge.

edit: Every single sentence in the first post is wrong.

Whats your point... Bladed Aatxe are level 28 and 55's can solo them too. Does that mean they're not overpowered? 300 damage a hit doesn't seem to agree.

The Avicara in Mineral Springs are insanely powerful against henchman. Probably becuase they're beyond stupid... group up... and run around instead of healing.

Addone_Abaddon:

Talon is a hench, henchies are suposed to be "bad, to force you to play with the "really bad" PUG groups. Forcing teamplay.

I really can't agree with you in any way, tengus are very easy, just like everything else in PvE.

Only problems i ever had with them, is in Mineral springs with their dodge ranger spike vs. henchmen. > Aegis > No problem.

You do realize that, the ettins just outside the town in Kryta are nerfed right?
They had their drops reduced.

If you want to ettin farm, run to the Ascalon settlement, kill those right outside, run back to previous instant, and go back to Ascalon settlement.

Well if you are talking about the kryta ones yeah they do seem a little tough for level 13. I had been soloing in the maguuma Jungle of and on for a few days with my warrior monk when I decided to go back and pick up some outposts I missed. So I picked up henchies and left from lions arch to bergen hot springs. Ran into a huge cluster of them.

So I figured I would just wait for smaller groups to break apart and take them out. What happens? My henchies aggro the larger mob and we all die. I managed to take out smaller groups the second time and got around to my destination. It is a challenge but it can be done with some good ninja skills.
