I want to tell you a short story, a player who crys will get nowhere in this game, even if what he is saying makes sense, so the player complained, then demanded that it be changed and recieved more negative comments, finally the player decied to just join the others in their own game, so he read up on what was involved with builds and skills, then listned to others, and explained his actions which made him sound like a pro.
Take that advice, if you do not like when players call you noob, then learn the game enough so you sound, and play like a pro. That also means if you are having a lagging problem, then try logging off then back on. Anet does not cause lag as much as your connection does.

Some people do not listen, simply because they prefer to be heard.
You can't reason with them, so just say your piece, and ignore. No use in shouting at a brick wall.

mmm, I don't know, but if you're lagging out that bad, I wouldn't expect people to be nice to you anyway. Maybe it's time to fix your computer and connection before entering any battles or situations where you're needed. From what it sounds like, you were just sitting there afk, lagging out, and typing things to the rest of your group? If my computer started acting like that, I would of told my guildies what's going on and logged off to fix it. Instead of carrying on through the lag and not doing anything, hoping it clears up by itself.

Uhh, sorry officer, I forgot that red meant stop. I mean it doesn't matter because there was no one else at the intersection, so you shouldn't give me a ticket. People forget things all the time.
Oh, oops guys, I forgot to put my skills in my bar.
Oh, oops guys, I forgot that I have to get up in the morning, so I'm gonna log out in the middle of a mission.
Sure, everyone forgets things now and then, that DOES NOT MEAN that there are no consequences. If there were no consequences, no one would bother to remember anything.

It's Anet not our connections. While that could be his problem, I bet he'd get it again as soon as he logged back on. The past two weekend events before this..I got lag so bad. Now..no more lag. I didn't fix anything in my internet connection. He probably figured it couldn't be his net and since you can't log off and expect Anet's servers to be fixed..you just play through the lag hoping it clears itself up.
All PUGS in HA aren't that bad. At least I hadn't ran into any, most of them were pretty nice. Some people do act childish, all ages, mostly those under 25, from my past experiences. Some people are just playing to be mean to other people. Can't do much about that it's life. Just ignore them.

That has to be one of the most shortsighted and self centered answers yet.
This guy obviously knew what he was doing, the failing was not his. It was the moron he was working with.
If you're going to lag the same amount before and after you relog what's the point. As he's stated thelag was due to updates, not backlog in his program.
You can know all the builds, learn all the strategies and BE a pro and asshats like the one mentioned, the ones who don't LISTEN, the ones like you, will call people noobs.

yeah, playing games is like driving a car. people feel more comfortable anonymously being a jerk (and picking their noses but that's something different). you should be more supportive of them after all, the less we help them now, the longer we'll have to support them when they're on ssi and taking hundreds of dollars of mood stabilizers and antipsychotics in the future.

I find those people are the most annoying ones to have to deal with. It's like listening to a nagging child going;
"I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I...
I know you are but what am I..."
(Notice how I didn't put in a question mark in each one? Here's a hint, they aren't looking for an answer or an explanation... OP... good luck to you :P)
after you spend a few hours collecting your scattered brain together, you have to then remember how it all goes back into place, thats the second most annoying thing.
Whenever this happens, to me or someone else in my party, well, most of my groups aren't that stupid, so they'll generally back up the righter person, and often tell the noob caller to shut-up.

The issue here is you shouldn't be typing. Get on vent and dont run with a group that can't participate on the vent server. That illiminates 99% of communication issues.

Tell you what, I don't call players noobs, but if he was lagging because of updates, then we would all be lagging. I will tell you when I first got this game, I had a lot of lagging issues, I also found out that my connection had problems as well, and as soon as it was resolved the lag disappeared. It must have been Anet, not my connection. Dee, dee, dee!
Tell you what, certain programs can make you lag also, depends on your system and mermory for your system, this guy could have been running 5 programs, you don't know, and since he did not explain what he was doing besides playing and blaming Anet, well it shows his maturity level.
Grow up, investigate why, and take responciblity for your actions, if it is determined that Anet is the cause, seek help from tech support, don't bitch.
Also know what he's talking about, I was treated the same way he was, I did not know IWAY, and got kicked and called noob. I haven't played HA for over a year, and besides knowing what IWAY stood for, I was oblivous to the build, so I looked it up.
P.S. I also like to get the last word in, so sorry for being an asshat.

IIRC, OP is the person who posted that, two lvl 13 critters, could kill an entire eight man level 20 party.
