I too think the birthday present should reward early adopters of Guild Wars instead of those who haven't bothered to try different characters (which is one of the goals Anet tried to achieve <- very confusing).

I only have one due for a present shortly.

I got a Mini Burning Titan, and when I took it out in Cantha to use it, it acted retarded and just walked around. Didn't attack anything, just stood there and watched.

How do you use these things? I think mine's broken.

Actually... I found out that they do, or at least, the Charr Shaman, interacts with the environment in some way. Was fighting summit, and the knockdowns produced by the beastmasters were causing my pet to fall over, as if he was being knocked down.

I've only seen it with the Charr shaman, so, other pet's may not work the same.

Would be neat if they at least played out battle animations when in battle, even if they didn't do any damage.
