I'm still thinking there are more than one area that was made inaccessable. As for now im going to try and get past the area south of Henge. I believe that is the most likley spot.
I investigated that area some more but the troll did not pass buy. But, I think i found another lead for this area. Like in factions you can only get to certain areas by compleating certain missions or quests. I think this is what we have to do. I was told there is a quest item that you can get just like the "white blocks". This source said that there used to be an NPC called Giglamor and that is where you got the quest. I'm not really thinking this is true though because they could have just came up with the name using the ancient war lord Giglamesh's name.
I will look into it anyway.

I believe that random arena was called "The Crag"

As for the Henge, there was an arena NE too called "Fort Koga"

Hope that helps..

Most parts of Tyria can't even be assessible. Parts of maps that are blocked are just there which ends pathways.

Southeast corner of Tasca's Demise for example. While defogging, I found a locked gate that leads into absolutely nothing.

Even if it exsists its unreachable, obviously because there are people who have walked every milimeter of tyria and cantha.
Just get over it ull never get to what your looking for.

Default Another Off-Limits Locale

I will have to go check out hte area you are talking about, but since we're on the subject, here's another locale that does not seem to correlate to an accessible place. It is due north of Sanctum Cay. You can see it from at least two spots along the northern shore of Sanctum Cay. It appears to be in the little unmappable cove just to the west of D'Alessio Seaboard. It is most likely where the White Mantle come from in the mission (they also circle around to the souther shore). You can see the structures in the backgrounds (they look like they have some kind of crappy testing textures, though that could be due to the LOD). Also, I was not far enough north to be able to see the mountains wrap around like the map shows (it is a cove/small bay on the map), due to the way GW dooesn't render distant objects.

The red circles are where you can stand to see what is in the yellow circle.

Area 1

Area 1 Map

Area 2

Area 2 Map

Most likely someone clearing the map (at least around Area 2) should be able to get closer to the shore and get a better look at the fortress and ships near it.

I agree.

I strongly believe all of Tyria has been discovered. Refer to the beta map posted below to solve some of your inquiries.

"old arena in Henge"

"Another old arena"

everyone is being very helpful in my search to solve this mystery. I beleive if we all work at it we will get this figured out. Me and a few friends have been investigating the area mentioned in msg #34. We saw what he was talking about.
I'm thinking theyre making some of these areas for other expantion packs like nightfall so they cut them off from everyone to incorperate in that story line. Well that i think is only true for the Henge area. As for these other areas ... they seem to be more mysterious than my original area.
Oh and im also going to post a picture of the "White Block" in my next post if im on my pc.

All of this info on the Henge arena is true but I am speaking of the large mountain terrain looking filler area on the coast of the sea bellow henge. That is the area i beleive was made inaccessable.

Cyber Nigma might be on to something. I heard that Gilglamosh (still think this one is made up) is where Nigma's first pick is pointing to. The red circles really helped i went there and saw what he was talking about and i believe that is the place we should START looking. The idea we had using the assassin skills to death charge to the troll was not a success. we got the troll to run down to the trail but it would just compleatly freeze half way down then disappear. We were all tired of this and loged out for the night. So if anyone knows any glitches or anything like that that would be very helpful.
