lol i got one

I was on my Whammo in the Ring of Fire missions, and it was impossible to from a party.

So in the end, in Hell's Precicpe, i decided to "experiment" with an all Whammo group and hench healers...

yea... didn't exactly turn out the way I expected XD

The time I went Glyph -> Ether Prodigy instead of Glyph -> Met. Shower in game 3 against Evil at vod.

The dumbest things I've probably done:

I first bought guild wars, wow this game is cool, first character was a warrior (of course), and did the quest to get 2nd pro, got it and it was a mesmer. I then played for a while in Pre. I didn't play after a while cause I thought the game was boring now. Come back a couple weeks later and everyone has CAPES! WTF is a cape and how do you get 1? I then join a guild and get a cape. I then later on get past pre and start up the main game. Wow big map now. I play my W/Me until I say to myself I want to have a different 2nd pro, so I delete my first and only character at the time, to only create one with the same name but with a different 2nd pro. And I later find out that you can change your 2nd pro later in the game. Another dumb thing, after I created my new character, I just stopped playing guild wars for a while. BTW, I stopped right before the halloween event. So I didn't get the special hat. I also created a 2nd character, a N/Mo. I also ended up deleting my necro before I found out that you could switch your 2nd pro. (but I got further with this charater, got to LA, and run to Drok's, with max armor.)

I deleted my W/Me to make a W/Mo with same name.
I deleted my N/Mo to make a N/Me with different name/gender, a cool one at that (The Dead Dude).

So basically me not knowing about being able to switch your 2nd pro screwed me over.

I've deleted well over 20 characters, some of which were lvl20, 1 of which had 3 sets of 15k and all primary skills.

I did it in an effort to quit...didn't work.

I told my team to body block a res shrine, and then we got firestormed and maelstromed, it didn't really hurt us it just looked completely retarded

I just did it. Bought a "captured son letter". Yea, sure. It was the letter for follow-up Jade Sea quest...

Wow, there are some great stories here.

Mine was in FoW, playing through the mission and just finished the first couple seemed a good point to have a cuppa, so tell everyone I'll be a couple of mins and they all say OK. Get back to the computer and they've all gone chest hunting, so I go to that lovely list of players and double click on a name, then start typing a message saying, "back now, lovely cuppa etc etc". Look up a couple of seconds later and I'm running straight through a load of monsters and everyone is screaming at me.

Yep, they'd carefully moved thier way around these baddies and were over the other side from where they left me... Nearly wiped out the entire team. Thankfully we got rezed and completed it all in the end. But I felt soooo stupid...

I did THK as a bunny thumper in a PUG group yesterday.... We actually did beat it but no self heals=bad XD

Tried to go to kryta in presearing and I got to the very edges of the map and threw a big tantrum over how they wouldn't let me go to kryta in the mountains=(

I also got lost in Wizards Folly. Yes, Wizards Folly. It took me 1 hour to figure out I should use the map to get to ascalon.

We had a wammo wearing uninfused Drok's armour during THK with us last night. I nominate it as the dumbest thing he ever did.

p.s. And yes, I was the monk. Once again..dumb!

Eh I just ran around in the Scarred Earth Map for about 6-8 minutes while the starburst group tried to kill me. They only managed to cause I had about a 4 second lag on every skill I used and kept rubberbanding everywhere. GL to them though were a decent team.

Dumbest thing I've done on GW? hmm were to start?
GW was my first online so I was a total noob in the beginning but I've learned my lessons now lol

Warning: get ready to wet your pants in laughter

1) found a vial of black dye in pre without realising how much it was worth and so traded it for a blue dye for my warrior's armour

2) turned down the offer of a crystalline sword for 5k (it was alot of money to me!

)

3)doing missions with axe mastery set to 0 after doing runs wondering why the hell my char is being a fag to lvl 10 monsters

4) finally saved up 130k (such a proud moment

) bought a req 10 (REQ 10 FFS) 15^50 shadowblade for 27k + 20/20 mod for 65k + 30hp mod for the rest of my cash and never being able to sell it...in the end I made 60k back

5) found a longsword with 20/20 but when salvaged I got 22 iron ingots out of...

Well there you have it I hope you enjoyed laughing at my misery and stupidness

Don't feel bad for me though as now I am raking in 5 ectos a day with my own solo UW build

doing chest runs in nahpui quarter:

i had already opened 2/5 of the chests, we were at the last one and no one would open so i looked into my inventory for the classic 'drop a gold to decieve them' trick. i didnt have any unid golds, and the only thing that would look realistic would be one of my shields. unfortunately for me, i was so tired i choose my perfect celestial shield req 8 str , -2enchant, -2 stance insetad of my normal crappy celestial shield. lets just say ill never do it again because an assassin who was running with us ended his 'recall' enchant on me and picked it up before i could react. gee gee

wow this is single handedly mine, this was liek 3 days ago. i joined this HA group and im like hey man, lemme go reroll. i was gonna delete my pvp mesmer and it comes up "please type the name" or wahtever, so i type S-O-U-R, P-A-N-C-A-K-E... this was my lvl 20 monk, almost beaten tyria, beaten all of cantha, 3 sets of 15k, one set of 1.5k, 50k in gold, all my greens, a few golds, about 20 elites, another 50k worth of skills, and my pvp char for the last month

In the Deep, we had a really good group except this W/A with no icy weapon, no knockdown, who kept talking bs..... basically a perfect example of a noob, the real kind. So near the end, he eventually annoyed us so much that the monks let him die.
Then the rest of us went to kill Kanaxai. We killed him, but the noob got the Edge, unable to pick it up, obviously (being dead). So we started talking who gets it and such and also ressing the other fallen team members. Well...I accidentally ressed him as well and he picked up the green.
The feeling was one of the worst I've ever felt. If anyone from those 10 people reads this, I'm so very sorry. If I could give a Kanaxai edge to all of you, I would.

Dumbest thing recently was accidently saccing my MM to death... been playing AotL style for ages, recently capped Flesh Golem... the difference in life that BotM sacrifices is quite big. Almost wiped out the party.

The other dumb 1 was joining pugs on my monk, what a stupid idea that was.
