Default Crystallines and their decreasing rarity

Just to start this off, i dont have a crystalline sword nor do i want one. However, i have noticed that there have been a large number of crystalline swords popping up lately. Why? It seems like every page i look on the high end forums i see another one. Can anybody tell me why this is happening? i have heard that its due to the increased hoh chest drop rate, but every time either someone i know or i win hoh, we only see weak drops.

Maybe they are just the same swords that have been in circulation but people are selling now for Nightfall or something.....

I've seen a crystalline, dwarven axes and a sephis axe drop in halls, but they're still very rare. Maybe crystallines are declining in popularity and people who had them are selling? Who knows.

Also keep in mind that purple crystallines can drop from chests in UW and fissure that pop up after you finish a quest.

The number of HoH games was doubled, so there are more cyrstalline swords being put out on the market. There's still only ~4 15>50 cyrstallines in the game though, but I doubt they're being circulated. I know I'm about to customize mine just b/c I can. >.>

Actually, there are many more than 4 15^50 Crystallines. I have seen well over 20 of them. I have only seen ~5 req8 15^50 ones though, but there are many of the other req ones.

like ive said before, the not-so-good ones have always had a high droprate, but the truly rare ones often exchange hands...but people who dont follow them confuse this as new ones popping up. fact of the matter is 9/10 times you see a 15>50 decent-req crystalline sword go up on sale; its a resale. every few months a new one drops, but they tend to get snatched up rather quickly.

Very doubtful, seeing as how I know someone with 4+ 15^50's of varying requirements and this just one person.

The swords I know of are req 7 and 8. I don't bother caring about swords req 10-13. >.> I also havn't bothered trading in ages, so it's probable that a few more have surfaced over time.

do you want crystalline to be rare? gather all crystalline owners and select only 5 people to have it. the rest, npc it or salvage it.

if that happens, there will be only 5 crystalline floating in game. rare.

I don't trade anymore, but I still auction (very rare)/get pcs for friends who refuse to use forums. I also don't need to worry about crystalline prices when I own my own 15>50. >.> Ask anyone in Alliance of Xen (or half of the XoO GW players), if you don't believe me.

Anyway, do what my avatar says.

What people say and what the truth is are two totally different things. With big claims there has to be big proof to back it up.

Pics would be nice

Anyway with hoh matches being shorter the number of crystallines would increase slightly. and people selling before nightfall would cause more to be on market.
