Yay! Skill sets! I hope it saves your skill bar and attribute point allocation, but anything they add to make changing skills or attribute points more convenient is awesome in my book.

There's already a whole thread devoted to the pics taken from Leipzig, I have no idea why you posted those in here....

Wouldn't mind seeing it in the other Guild Wars chapters. It's a feature thats so obviously needed it should been in from the beginning if you ask me. Chances are they thought about it from the beginning, but saved it so they had somthing extra to add in a later chapter. Excellent!

When anet handled the "material" storage linked to Factions or Factions + Latter, would not surprise me if templates are handled this way.
That being said, I can't wait for this feature. Saves many scrape paper on the computer desk

The title of this thread should be edited as this has not been confirmed by any dev. This could be a dangerous speculation.

Well, it is in PC Gamer, and has not been denied by Anet...
I think it's a safe bet we'll see Skill (and Profession!) templates in Nightfall.
Yes, according to PC Gamer, you will be able to change your secondary in Outposts in Nightfall, and even set up templates of builds. (I assume you'll have to unlock the secondary first...)
But you're right, it has not been confirmed.
EDIT: Gaile just confirmed there will be Assassin and Ritualist skills in Nightfall, so for what it's worth, PC Gamer got that right...

I just read the thread about the contents of the November edition of PC Gamer and can see some more convincing evidence of this. I really hope so as it would totally rock.

This is clearly a feature that should of been in the game from the start, they're obviously using 'purposefully left out' features as incentives to purchase each new expansion.

Im sorry how was this "purposefully left out" GW is an evolveing game and the developers simply add what needs to be added over time.

Yes, "obviously" Anet foresaw the future, and purposely left this feature out so they could make a great selling point for Chapter 3.
Please. It's a nice feature, but not the main selling point (to me) for Nightfall. I think it's great Anet listens to their customers and gives us what we want.
I also think it's silly to expect this kind of service for free. Anet is not a charity, and as long as these features are included with all the content a new Chapter brings, I'll be glad.
(I wouldn't be willing to spend money just for this feature, for example.)

I don't remember saying it was the main selling point, but don't fool yourselves into thinking they only just thought to add this, offering things like this (and the material storage) to only the people with the latest expanison , is, ofcourse an intended selling point. 'I also think it's silly to expect this kind of service for free. Anet is not a charity' You realise they make a new expansion every 6 months or whatever it is, to make up for not having a monthly fee (which also explains the cheapo servers) right? Aslong as they keep offering 'revolutionary' features no one could ever think of like material storage and skill pre-sets, thrown in with some new content people will carry on buying them.

Mordakai, you say Anet are not a charity so you must realise they are a company, and like alot of companies they are out to make money right? Yeah thats right, how do they make money? Employing strategies like this, all game developers do it. They 'obviously' save ideas to keep the series going. I think it's foolish to see people giving it "I <3 Anet," because it's all part of their plan anyway, they havn't listened to you, im sure if 10,000 gamers can think of the idea a single developer can.

Again, my point is, "people are upset... WHY?"
You're getting a feature you want. Be happy. Don't bitch and say this feature should have been available from the beginning.

That's right, if they put all of their ideas into the first game, it would be a great game no doubt, but they wouldn't be able to bring anything new to the table and make some good, worthwhile expansions (which in the long run would make them more money than releasing only the one game with everything included).

I'm not bitching. My point is don't kiss their arses for it because they just see £30 when they look at you mate, like they do everyone.

Whatever. It's a great feature, but I would buy Nightfall anyway.
So, who's the sucker now?!? Oh, wait, I am.

I'm not upset, I'm glad they're adding it, but my point was don't kid yourselves, not just you, into believing it's a new idea or added by popular demand, but you couldn't accept that.
