Yes they bother me.
Bot framing areas usually lead to Nerfs or changes-marrow scabs.

Instead of banning the bot user, A-net takes the EASY way out and I loose out on fun.

Arwen I can probably guess this thread will be closed... Heck I posted about them being in Beetletun cause it seemed odd for them to be there and 3posts later my thread was closed.. -_-
I was told there were plenty of threads on bots and to use the search function (which was down at the time o_O). Anyways its nothing new reguardless especially in Elona.

I seen a bunch in Camp Rancor. What could they possible be farming there? It seemed like an odd place to see so many bots.

What really bother me are all the Asian spam-bots in Droks int. AFAIK, Droks is the only place that ever has two int districts. What are they doing?

They reached the chat record limit in seconds with their spam...why no suppression?

Actually that's not really true - since they are bots they are automated and don't have to do anything, just do the run again and again - so while one run doesn't make them a lot of money, the number of times they do it will.

That's one thing I miss about WoW, the ability to slaughter the gold farmers.

I have to admit that I would enjoy bringing a Enchantment-stripping Mesmer out into the troll caves and just nailing the bots that pop out. Especially if THEY dropped stuff...

Mind if I would join? 50/50

Rather than enchant-stripping, get a necro with rend enchants while i bring a monk to fix you right back ^^

So far most bots are in prophocies. I don't think bots will be going to the next chapter with the risk of being banned.

As more chapters are released the less you will see.

That's because the groups in Factions are more varied, I can only think of the vermin and low level wardens (without mesmers) could possibly be botted there.

On second thought vermin can probably not be botted either since they apply to many conditions for a bot to figure out.

factions has all the locked gates..... so they would need to do the missions to get to the farming places. Not something I see bot-ers doing.....

and I tend to agree with lennymon about anet and boters and their relationship.....if the only sell copies to gamers then there maybe a lag where there are not many (or maybe even NO) sales, but if they have boters, then they keep selling copies to the banned boters-----revenue keeps pouring in....

and yes I have to say it.....yes it does BOTher me....sorry,

You can tell the bots from the chinese sweat shop farmers easily, just take a warrior and do the wammo dance behind them, if they move away disgusted its usually not a bot, but the bots will never be removed, its what keeps the high end trade forums alive....

Vermin don't apply many conditions. only bleeding and poison. then shreader comes and puts his hex to a total of 10 degen. May I say that I do it with my eyes closed with my W/Mo so I'm afraid they are bottable but they drops rares REALLY unfrequently, although you get loads of cash.
