A Most Ironic Weapon
I've actually been looking for one of these, and my daughter had one drop from the Avicara Tengu outside the Troll Cave:
The screen shot is a PNG image hosted on my web site. If you can't see it:
Shocking Feathered Longbow of Tenguslaying
Lightning dmg: 15-28 (req. 13 Marksmanship)
+18% Damage (versus Tengu)
It just seems... so appropriate. I can imagine my ranger triumphantly plucking a villainous Tengu and adding its feathers to her bow...
Note, BTW, that Tengu are also weak to lightning damage,
And next time I go to Mineral Springs, this bow is going along... my ranger REALLY hates Tengu.

My alltime favorite was getting a Dwarven Axe of Dwarfslaying from a stone summit boss while exploring in the Northern Shiverpeaks.

When I think ironic, those damned freakish mods always come to mind...I had a purple sheild drop for me with a +24 AND -20 health mod...the give and take of it seemed ironic...
But in terms of the drops and droppers...A deadbow of skeletonslaying dropped by an undead ranger on my way to spank Galraith comes to mind...purple, non-max damage peice of salvagefodder barely worth the wood plank i got out of it.

My favorite was a poisonous longbow of skeletonslaying. Absolutely the funniest drop I ever got. Right up there, though, were the many weapons of charrslaying that the charr dropped.

This doesn't sound possible; both fortitude and charrslaying are axe grips.

I could just see the OP going out to kill some Tengu with his new bow, then to his surprise find the Tengu shouting "I Will Avenge You!" all of a sudden, lol.
Seriously though, that is a nice bow and would come in handy against the cursed chicken men.

*shrug* My main weapons are staffs so I only deal with staff wrappings and staff heads. Though I've never managed to salvage a staff head. *shrug* From what I read on GuildWiki the species modifiers aren't upgrades so it wouldn't be impossible to add a grip of Fortitude.
