Has the event started yet or still delayed? Ive used all my slots, so set up a new account but just get " your account is not currently authorized to play Guild Wars". Will that change when NF goes live, or did i do the account wrong

Frankly, no, you shouldn't. Whoever is updating their website is very optimistic. When people start posting here that they're in (and provide new screen caps), then you should start believing that the event has started (somewhere).

OMG even I'm annoyed with all the bickering here, Don't you think ANEt Tech crew is working there asses off rigth now? They are manually sending the fiels to each server, granted that could technically be done at the push of a button, I'm pretty damned sure they coffe has been brewed more then a few times.

This isn't the first time tehre set deadline has been passed, Don't you remeber when all the Tradders got everything reset to 125gp?

He means that the event starts (or doesn't start, lol) and ends for everyone at the same time, regardless of time zones. Everyone is getting 3 days (minus delays) to preview the game. The Europeans haven't "lost" more time than the Americans, is the point he was making to the person he replied to.

I know, I'm talking acid here. But I have to say this damages the reputation of the company.

Dont forget Factions CE worldwide Delays. Looks like they still havent cleanup their act or learned anything still.

I wonder if Anet will still be bragging about how successful this event blah blah millions of hours logged BS this time again.

If you have one then your inline for the others just wait and it will come.

The issue at hand for a lot of us is that the whole server should have access to the download, and obviously that isn't the case as some EU players are getting them and some EU players are not. We worry that one of our builds are bugged and that we won't be able to get it, or we will have to re-install. As far as I'm concerned, this is a valid fear.

The game has probably completely come to a halt. It'd be interesting to see how many people are actually playing... and how many are just semi afk'ing, waiting for the update that actually starts the Event.
Just got another one of those Update Messages and it is still nothing. It's getting annoying and i'd consider myself of being a bit more calm about these things.

why cant Anet just admit that they wont be able to get the event running in time for today and just postpone the whole event, instead of wasting our time ?
