After PvE weekend
What will happen to the characters created for the PvE weekend? Will they be deleted freeing up the name used? I ask since I wanted to use a name thats currently in use by someone else

At least I think that those pve characters will be deleted after event..

I'm fairly certain that any skills you've unlocked will be available upon release.
Everything else goes "boom" except for name-holders I believe. |

The character will be reseted, but you keep the character and name.

I tned to agree with Tozen on the Skill Unlocks remaining - the Dervish skills I unlocked during the PvP weekend a while back are all still there waiting for me, trying to goad me into deleting my baby PvE Dervish and unleash Grenth on Luxons in the Ancestral Lands....
Who can say if the Char Slots will be wiped on Monday, but either way it looks like you'll have to create new chars from scratch when the full game is released. Sorry if I'm not particularly clear, I'm feeling a little sleep deprived... Only 780 more promotion points to Sunspear Commander.... Damn You ANet and your addictive events, lol. (^^ NOT a complaint!) COFFEE!!!! |
