"Can't Touch This!"
ArenaNet slipped this little Gem in the announcement:

Not only does it have the best name/picture for a skill in GW history, it'll completely shut up Touch Rangers. (Yes, I know they'll be posts saying "You don't need this skill to kill Touch Rangers, just kite them, n00b," but it's principle)
This skill also entices the use of Paragons in PvP, where Shock is rampant. (while the other two skills introduced are...crap.)

Either they didn't explain it clearly..or this skill is way too powerful. It's a shout that causes all touch skills to fail...or is it the "next" touch skill to fail?

Here's the official word on this awesome signet: "...which will make the next spell you cast use your Illusion attribute instead of its normal attribute."

Without knowing the cost, casting time, or recharge, it's hard to comment if it's "too powerful" or not.

You know nothing about cost, recharge or duration, so stop saying it's overpowered! Could have a 5 sec duration, 15 energy cost and 60 sec recharge. Would that be overpowered?

since touch has a counter, shout needs a counter too, can be a another shout call "shut the xx up" all the enemies within earshout cannot perform shouts.
or a touch skill "zip your mouth" target touched enemy cannot perform shouts/shouts disabled for xx second

Probably like 10 sec(1...10) on a 45 recharge or something balanced (IE. Lame) like that.
The illusion thing is funny. Nothing right now would warrent needing it though, unless the recharge is low enough, which it isnt because its a Signet and the better signets are good about having huge recharges.

In HA, Yes, 5 Seconds is long enough for Ghostly to cap with no fear of Knockdown or Inturuption
( Mo/P With SB+Cant Touch This+ Song of Concentration= No Way to Stop Him Cappig)

A touch ranger uses a touch skill every 1-2 seconds, if it only worked on the 'next' touch skill then it would be useless. You know nothing about the skill other than its description so it is rediculous to call it overpowered. Perhaps you dont want your precious touch ranger to have a direct counter.

Just from outright guessing I bet it'll be:
1...10 duration
45 recharge
Or a 60 recharge, then changed to 45 in the first skill rebalancing
That gives you Alittle window of protection from Shock and Blackout in PvP.
DOnt even mention Touch Rangers...
EDIT: Tainek - That isnt a problem with This skill so much as it is with Song of COncentration.

And If That Was Nerfed to Oblivion, then Add Guardian+ Ward Vs Melee, and you Still Making it uncappleble (What are the chances of that Dis Blow gettin in?) , Uncappable with 2 Characters, One Who is a standard in any Balanced (Warder), and one who isjust a slight modification of a standard Build (SB/Ih)

I'm nearly 100% certain that duration will be greater or equal to recharge. Otherwise, it would be useless, since Touch spells are such a niche anyways.

I think something like 5 energy, 5 sec duration, and 20 sec recharge is fine, perfect to use when your monk is about to be shock/adrenal spiked and watch the warriors go wtf?! A monk can also use it to protect against a mesmer suddenly running up to you
Considering its AoE effect and cannot be removed any longer and it gets a lil too powerful.

Heh, with a skill called "Can't Touch This" I would have expected the male Paragons to do an MC Hammer dance.
I kind of wish I'd gotten to name the skill though.
I would have named it after this page of my favorite web-comic, Goblins:Life Through Their Eyes.

I personally user a Toucher and I rather like the new skill. It may make my diversify my toucher to switch to a bow (No way!) depending on the group I'm facing. . Also...I also thought about MC Hammer when I read it. XD
