I could go for a gorilla, preferably a Silverback (Lvl 15) so it doesn't look like a bear. And being a lvl 15 it would be a hard charm like the Black Moa, or Elder White Tiger, or better yet make it a lvl 20 and almost impossible for most people to get, like the Black Widow.

Ok umm I have a couple ideas
Ok first off the croc in the vid attacked like a pet does so Croc is a definite yes.
Scorpion would be really really nice. Then maybe a devourer minpet wouldcome into favor *two scorps FTW*
Lion is very likely since they can just replace the stalker skin.
Maybe we can get a REAL Phoenix this time? Flames and all.
if not a phoenix then a Sphink like creature is on my list.
And a Rhino would be teh uber leet tankzors XD

Since it's an African themed area, my guess is African animals:
Lions
Cheetahs
Zebras
or maybe an ELEPHANT! DUN DUN DUN

Yeah because premade builds govern everything in the game, right?
Uhh...well, unless it's a REALLY awesome pet, I'll keep my awesome crab...I want a sand storm as a pet.

A sphinx would probably look too much like griffons!
I doubt it would be a camel, as they really don't attack people, well other than spit in their faces! And no not even for storage!
It will more likely be wild dogs, jakals etc..and scarabs or maybe birds like the ibis, cats were a big thing in egypt. Could be an aardvark! or porcupine or zebra or pangolin or baboon or macaques
|
I like the idea of a sphinx, if it was made well, not griffon esque.

Ok, big cats, we've had them, but they are very cool.
Monkey, I still really want, but how class would a Rhino or Elephant be? And yeah, the Sphinx idea is good too.

One of those Desert Rockshot Scorpion which actually has special interupt attacks like the mobs in Crystal Desert would be a ranger's wet dream.
But we will probably get something like a lion like cat ripoff reskin of the current pets.

i can almost say that elephants will not be tamable. reason? well, same reason the've nerfed so many builds, BALANCE. i mean, if a ranger gots a huge elephant, complete with tusks and all, the dmg output is gunna be high, plus the skills, meh.
monkey is cool, croc is cool, lion is probably gunna be in, i dont think any flying creatures will be added (unfortunately), snakes would be really cool , along with scorpions, but i dont think they will be tamable either. fantasy creatures would be sweet, like that pic on pg 2 o sumthing. wut i really want them to add is a damn quiver and a string on the bow!!!!! AAAAAAAAA
back on topic: id really like a snake, but the skill vipers nest may nerf that idea. and seeing that ive made/lvl'd/deleted bout 10 rangers already, i may not even make one anyhow, lol.

I think we'll see a Lion or Cheetah. I'd rather a Cheetah.
I think we'll see a hyena. The Wolf we have has the big hunch back hyena look to start with. Slight skin mod with a "Laugh" instead of "Howl" sound.
I think we'll see an ostritch to replace the bird.
Maybe a warthog
Maybe a gorilla to replace the bear but I wouldn't bet on it.
Those would be my "Guesses"
I'd like to see a Monkey of some sort. A babboon would work pretty well. People don't realize how big they are in the wild or how dangerous. The one's they see in Zoo's and circus and stuff usually have their 6 inch fangs removed. Chimps too. People don't realize theyhave 4 inch fangs and in the wild will eat human babies if they can catch them. Yes.. Chimps those cute lil guys people put in baby clothes.. will __EAT__ human infants if they can get um.
I doubt we'll see them in the game though. A babboon would be cool but it'd take all new attack program. I doubt we'll see it.

Shows how little of mythology you know. The factions phoenix IS based on mythology. It is an Asian mythology phoenix, called a Fenghuang, not the egyptian mythology.
It is perfectly fitted to the asian theme, and therefore not a disappointment to those who know mythology. I find it a very beautiful bird, tho I wish it would fly around similar to Kuunavaang rather than flutter like a chicken.

'Where can see Lions? Only in Elona!
Come to Elona, we've got Lions!'
Oh, and Girrafes and Zebras too (Think I should go visit weebl's stuff now...)
But, as I have reitterated on several occasions, if there is not a new type of Moa, I will be sorely p****d...

Hyena has to be #1 on my list. The giggle is so disturbing.
#2 is Gorillas, natures wammos.
3rd, hmm, if a flying pet is included I'd like to see a giant bat.
Lions, Leopards or Panthers would have to be a given.
Cheetas would rock for chasing down kiters.
Baboons could be cool, but only if they whoop.
