technically there are lame routers, they're not immortal.. gotta die or crap out some time
anyhoo.. I *rarely* have met an err7 issue, not much lag either..
i've found my issue is something on my machine, probably some hardware dying out on me. i'll have to run some diagnostics..
my gf's machine I built for her is right in the same studio and runs GW just fine, she can play smoothly without a hitch.. yet I have some wierd stuttering when enterting a zone or outpost, primarily when people first use skills or do actions.. it's a bummer. I'm not too bent though because i'm getting a new machine very soon, just a few more parts to order and i'll be set
there are sooooo many possibilities it can come down to before pointing a finger at Anet.. usually starting with user or user-hardware matters first.
best of luck to those who are having hurtles to cross, hope to see ya around with preferrably a good outcome to your connectivity matters =/

i've been having connection problems too, i can't play in international districts because after awhile everything just freezes (i'm able to move my char on the spot and use the UI but nothing registers). no problem in european district though.
i used the diagnosis tool that's in the gw.exe file and it says i'm having problems connecting to some of anet's servers and getting packletloss along the way, but not sure exactly whether that's because of them or my isp; my local exchange is due for an upgrade because of congestion but then other people are reporting problems too...
have yet to see if i still have problems today, since my connection was on the blink yesterday due to isp's network problems.

Well, I myself haven't had the exponential degrees of err7s that everyone else is having, but now I actually notice my load bar filling.
I think I've had maybe 1-2 err7s since the update, hopefully more are not to come.

I've played for about 6 hours today, and I've been plagued with lag pretty consistently. It comes in spurts, where it seems fine for about 5-10 minutes, then just lags up to the point where I think I'm about to be d/c'd, then comes back. It only happens in zone instances, not in towns/districts.
To test this, I ran around an outpost for about 10-15 minutes, clicking on all sorts of stuff, and it never lagged. As soon as I left, about 3 minutes after zone, bad lag. I think there might be something to this. Does anyone else experience the lag like this?
