i have my doubts on early access for the simple reason that was a much hyped advantage to the preorder bonus which is not listed this time.

they might also have a preorder box free shortly before release but i doubt that due to simple confusion.

we have only the PRE RELEASE box now and look at the confusion.

i just read all the details and it didn't say the actual guild wars nightfall game will be in it. will someon clearly tell me what's the pre-release bonus pack is about?

I really hope there is no problem getting the Bonus Pack and linking Nightfall to my account. Same thing happened to me, and I don't see how the math adds up.

* Had Prophecies = 4 Character slots
* Got a Factions pre-order code (+2 slots and weapons) = 4 + 2 before Factions came out, for the Beta event.
* Bought full version of Factions (+2 if you link to Prophecies) = What do you know I only have 6 slots.

What happened to the two bonus slots from the preorder?? I should have 8 slots. They were only good till the game came out? I don't remember EVER reading that somewhere.

Options are good since I think PUGs are annoying and it is a waste of time getting them together.

Was never informed that the slots were the same. If you could show me an example of the wording I must have misread, I will believe you. I can't find the email since my Hotmail switched over to Live Mail. Still iffy about getting the Nightfall Bonus pack since I would like an extra slot including the two I would get from linking Nightfall.

Doesn't matter, since ANET have said that the slots you get in TOTAL for pre-release bonus pack and Nightfall retial is 3 slots.

You wern't.

Factions Pre stuff never promised an extra slot. It just let you access your two a bit earily.

It's totally different from the NF stuff.

Now that the GW people are selling extra slots, they're "Giving one away" With the bonous pack. It's a gimmic, a gift, a freebie (( well $5.))

It was never nor ment to be ever a part of the Factions stuff.

Really people. This concept isn't all that hard. If you can't understand it.. maybe Pong is more your speed. The stuff's in black and white. It's been explained in this thread for pages and pages.

Weapons look cool, definitely worth picking up. Added character slot is something I expected Anet would throw in, which is a nice little bonus as well.

lol Whichever. Can opener, bottel opener. Some of the old can openers did look like that. They cauzed jagged cuts and what not. You can see them on some old Disney cartoons and stuff.

Most of us are just used to the clamp and twist can openers

Hi,
pardon me if this has been asked already but i did a basic search and couldn't find any information on this.

Is there actually going to be a preorder set of goodies for those that just preorder without the prerelease bonus? e.g. factions dragon fangs and ritualist staff e.t.c. free guildwars factions tshirt with the game once it comes out if you've preordered. If there is does that mean there will be 4 weapons for those that preorder and buy the bonus? Or did they just changethere preorder policy of the free tshirt (or character slot), DVD with art, wallpapers and the weapons and now we pay 5$ more for it. It's not that it'll stop me from buying pre release bonus and preorder the collectors edition, but it still makes me wonder about anet's strategy. If factions preorder = nightfalls prerelease bonus... then i wonder what theyre going to think of next... chapter 4 buy the game (with no char slots) and then buy extra char slots...? Enuf whining from my end. Although i disapprove of Anet's emptyin our pockets scheme (if my above rant is indeed the truth) and will complain everytime they do something like it, i'll still be amongst the first to buy new chapters. I just hope they make nightfall worth it.

The free t-shirt was a Best Buy only thing, not every retailer offered them. So if that is to happen again, it would be up to Best Buy. Also remember that this pre-order pack includes a character slot worth $10, so paying $5 is a bargain.

my question was not about the 10$ character slot. That is a bonus and i am happy with it. I wanna know if they removed all teh preorder goodies though. I'd still like 2 more weaps for preordering :P

I'm getting the Pre-release Bonus Pack for 2 (TWO!) Euro.

A very agreeable price for a character slot plus a few goodies, I must say.
