Nice idea with the Carribean!
edit~
come to think of it naval combat (ship v ship, boarding ship, piracy[PvP]) would be awesome imo

I think Tyria was a bit rushed... Maybe if they went back to it and made indivual chapters of each area in much greater detail
Ascalon - Medevial/Romanesque
Shiver Peeks - Norse/Barbaric
Kryta - Carribean/
Maguuma Stade - Aztec/Mayan

Pirate ship style GvG would be amazing.
A Pirate ship as a "Guild Isle" would be amazing too, especially one that moves and has the scenery change in the background.

I'm not sure but it will probably include a michael jackson dance for the professions and the same armor and weapon shapes with different skins slapped on them.

My guess is it will be focused on an Oni invasion of some sort and going to their home land to strike back ect.... Okay it's more of what I *really* hope. ^^
It could have a much more sci-fi/fantasy type *look* without it actually being high tech fantasy stuff.. more along the lines of deamonic alien type. I think it's a really good idea that could make for an interesting story and great areas to explore if you think about it.

Female Necromancer anyone?
I'm going to have to vote for the Barbarian Northen one.
Killer Penguins! Eskimos! Dual Weilding Axes! WHat more could you want? Although Id like to see some sort of "Martial Arts" class, like the monk dance except used on the enemy NINJA FLIPS FTW!!

I'm still pulling for a real Forest setting! Tropical rainforests anyone? Where are the redwood trees? Echovald doesn't count! It's all stone! >_< A location like that would be tough on Rangers and projectiles that require LOS, but that's part of the environment!
For that, I'm thinking of a "New World" setting... Perhaps a new uninhabited continent so it wouldn't be a repeat of history...

A Roman or Norse theme would rock...I still think they need a playable dwarven profession/race.

I can see an archipelago off the west coast of Tyria based on North/South American Culture. Then they may have a continent north of Tyria also cuz Cantha is south, Elona is east, there needs to be a west and a north

Why not combine some of the ideas posted here?
some Mayan continent frozen by a evil, wicked, twisted witch/wizard/demon/whatever. Kinda Narnia stuff, only MUCH harder, as thawing the area just by our presence is idiotic.
The mayan city of Kahan-du has been frozen for the last 50 years by an evil sorcerer of enormous power. The inhabitants have tried to live on by making firewood of the frozen forests, but no new trees can grow in this frozen land, and peaple need it to melt the ice for water.
Many have tried to fight, but all now stand on the mage's doorstep, frozen, waiting in vain for the day the ice will melt. Now a youngster decides to step out of the closed off culture of his kin, and looks for help alone in far off lands. He manages to arrive to Morkana, the land ruled by the Morkans who didn't even know of their existence. However the king decides to help the newcomer and his people and sends a small force to scout the area. The 'scouting' turns into a fierce battle which the heroes lose. For the second round they have to undertake a quest to achieve the total control over the mind so that they can resist the icy illusions placed by the mage. in the end they have to call all their experience and powers to finally be able to end the winter.
Sorry if it was a bit long
