I loved what you did with Nightfall because the PvE element that existed in Prophecies was missed. I hope improvements will be continued to be made before the official release date (especially the character customization options because it is a bit lacking) so that we will be even more impressed. Thank you very much for the preview event!

Thank you so much for bringing us such an enjoyable game. You have basically made the MMORPG where we basically played with only other people (Which is great, don't get me wrong) But now we actually interact with the game an AI, and choose something out of a variety of choices (Such as when we did the Quest with the trial and got to choose who to bring to the stand and answer a few questions to our own Choice the way we fancied)

You have outdone youselves, we give you a round of applause and you should give yourself a nice pat on the back. I have already reserved my Collector's Edition and I certainly hope that every edition of Guild Wars (Of which of course, I will buy them all just because of the first 3 editions) will be as great. Thank You.

Great job. The preview was tons of fun. The hero system and added henchie control is awesome.

Well, what more can I say? Seems like a stellar effort from the GW team. Okay, the game crashed a few times during the weekend, but that didnt dampen the experience one bit, (plus it was the PC that was at fault, not the game, as I later found out.)

I especially loved the artwork, it really captures the imagination in ways that Factions frankly failed.

The other thing I absolutely loved were the expansive areas you could explore - Zehlon Reach is a piece of art, in every sense of the word.

So, thank you, Jeff, Alex, Gaile, Izzy and everyone else at Arenanet, for working so hard at this.

I stumbeled across Guild Wars by accident. Around April of 2005, my friend said he was bored of a RPG online he was playing. He was going to hand over his account to me when I said I wasn't interested. In fact, he was going to give it to another one of his buddies, but his computer wouldn't run it. I was about to turn it down, when he said there was no monthly fee. He reassured me, so I decided to give it a try. I started talking about it to my friends and showed them the neat cinematic for Guild Wars Prophecies (Where is the Nightfall one?!?!) and almost instantly we were engaged in it. I already had my account, but me and a car load of friends went to a local gaming store and went up the to cashier and said: "Here's $250, five copies of Guild Wars please!"

Over that summer, I played and played! I have never been in such a game with lush scenery! I could not stop looking around and losing myself in the serenity of Pre-searing! (I thought the map was quite big and that it would take me a long time to uncover it) Nearing level 9 with my Necromancer, thinking myself on top of the world with my Blood and Death Magic, I recieved the quest which forwards me past the searing. I took one last look at the map which had bearly been uncovered completely and went with the quest. After a nervous victory of the skirmish, I ended up in Post-searing. My beautiful Ascalon had fallen, and all that I knew was destroyed. I walked outside and stopped on a small cliff overlooking the new scenery, astonised at my new world. I almost died from Conjure Phantasm from the pesky enemies because I was looking so intently over the seared lands of Ascaon.

When I zoomed out in the new map for the first time, I stared, wide eyed at how big it was. I didn't think I would EVER get across it!

Each time I reached a new area from tar pits to the Shiverpeaks, then from Kyrta to Magumma, I couldn't help myself but to explore every corner and find every sight to see! The clear waters of Kryta! The undead's relentless assults and the Stone Summit and their massive beasts! The lush forests and wintery landscapes! I had to see the smallest speck of detail to the largest waterfall! Each quest brought new skills and more storyline. I couldn't get enough of it! And the music too! Great stuff!

The desert had me reading the dry bones and pondering the story of Ascension and the races that failed. Then finally, the danger of the Fire Islands and the conclusion of Prophecies.

Such a great game! Thank you for all the time and effort you put in the game. Just because you spend that extra 20 minuets putting that flower JUST right in the back of the Magumma jungle, behind a tree, under the moss, doesn't mean no one will see it. Don't stop making the smaller things! Keep your creativity and passion for this game flowing!

Factions was a great game too. I have high hopes for Nightfall! Thank you for the amazing adventure, even if it was imaginary! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

Found out about this game last year from my cousin, got it July 2005, been in love with it since I got it. Loved Prophecies, Factions as well (a bit too short though). Good job with it. Continue strong with Nightfall please.

BTW, I love the #$%#!!

Just so you know, that's what you say when you get Cry of Frustration-ed.

I think ANet has given us a great game. It's had its ups and downs, but overall, I think it's a very solid game that has a lot of replay value. I'm definitely getting my money's worth, that's for sure. I also like the fact that ANet keeps an open line of communication between its developers and players. This may not be as smooth as some people had anticipated, but I think it's had an overall positive effect. I thank everyone at ANet for their hard work and dedication.
