Maybe they'll make it Tyria too with this "new and improved" one next week.

Ah, I see. I have the -password command set so I don't see the log on screen. Well, I really hope they include Tyria. I like their greens better.

I am suprised only two users in this thread mentioned anything about Kaolin farming for this upcoming event.
There are also the remaining bosses without documented greens. That would be a green hunter's dream or a massive sell if they did actually dropped greens. I know a lot of ppl have tried. Such bosses include Kayali the Brave and Sarss Stormscale, to name a couple. If they have them, they are the most selfish bosses in all the lands.
Maybe that's the "even better" part of moving it to next weekend. My rangers would love to know what Salke Fur Friend and Milodestus the Wrangler have to offer.

Well, as a frame of reference, I did a 5 man Oro run last night in SF and ONE green dropped. We went all the way through with only ONE green total...period. I'm not going to say that's typical, but you do the math. I'm still psyched they're doing double greens, but I wanted to put some perspective into this. Anyone expecting some sort of wind fall will be disappointed.

ok, if you won't, I will. One green drop in an Oro run is relatively typical (although possibly a bit on the lower spectrum of average). I've gone through full runs where no greens drop on many occaisions. The double green drop weekend should be nice, but I wouldn't expect greens to start fallin like rain because of it. I will expect to hear stories of people who farmed bosses over and over without getting the drop on the forums when the event is over though, LoL.

Yes, let the speculation fly what 'even better' could possibly mean.....double drop is a discrete term and pretty easy to get across, but 'new and better' makes me think some other mechanic is at work. Giving greens to the few bosses that got looked over? Some other drop assignment algorithm? Altering of anti-farm code? Maybe some way to assign hench green drops to the player? I hope there's a little more to this, considering the delay, than just the 2 x 0 = 0

Would be awesome if they added new greens for those bosses for the event. Might be a bad idea... new greens + x2 farm rate = ZOMG GOGOGO FARM FOR YOUR LIFE

It's supposed to be next weekend now, starting Friday the 13th.
I did a 5 man B/P in SF last night. We all got so excited. Three green drops from the first three bosses we met just outside Warcamp. We were all thinking maybe they'd decided to do the double greens this weekend afterall and included Tyria. Then we went into SF. We killed every boss and not a single green dropped. In fact, there were NO good drops at all once we went in. I guess it was just dumb luck when we were outside. I'm not complaining. At least I got a green. It's Thorgall's crappy shield that'll be Hero fodder, but it's better than nothing.

I know to you dedicated PvE people this will sound like heresy but...
The best way I found to clear "anti-farming" on characters was to do a bit of PvP. The characters I use most in PvP, when they wander into PvE get massive amounts of drops.
Point in case : My friend wanted a Wings Axe and had been farming it forever. I dropped out of an HA group to help him. The mob around Wings dropped 4 golds and wing himself dropped his axe and 1 gold. Everything cept Wings Axe dropped for me.
On the other side : My tank hardly gets to pvp, I rather roll one. I go to PvE and he is reserved mostly whites and purples. I took him for a couple of hours into TA, RA, and a tiny bit of HA. Went back to my favorite baddie killing zone and I got 6 golds.
Luck? I dont know. Maybe, but I doubt it. Going to PvP has more effect on my tanks drops than just "switching crops".
I have no doubt that if I bother to take my monk on the double green weekend farming he will get full of stuff real fast.
Later.
