Default Employed Full Time? Love to play Guild Wars? Are you?

Note to Admin:
Thanks, Inde, for keeping the peace in here. Much appreciated.

Note to the rest of the Riverside Inn community:
Thanks to all who replied and wrote aout themselves, this original post was writen and posted in a hurry, so not much detail was put in.

Seeing that many of you all wrote a bit more about yourselves I decided to chip in a bit of myself as well.

Cheers.

=================

The Original Post which started this thread:
I wish to find out how many Guild Wars players out there who browses and replies to topics in Riverside Inn are pretty much like me:
- employed full time
- loves to play Guild Wars

But have less time to spend on Guild Wars during weekdays, only more time to spend on Guild Wars during weekends.

If possible, state a bit more information about yourself?
Let me start:

Age: 25
Country: Malaysia
Time Zone: GMT +8:00
Employed: Yes
Standard Working Hours: 8:30am ~ 5:30pm
Standard Working Days: Monday ~ Friday
Occupation: Quantity Surveyor - Project Assistant

=================

Additional Stats about myself and Guild Wars related:

Gender: Male
Married: No. Not Yet
Have Children: No. Not yet
Region: America
PvP: Yes. (Random Arenas, Team Arenas, Alliance Battles)
PvE: Yes. (Quests, Missions, Normal Farming, Farming Canthan Bosses for Greens)
Been Playing Guild Wars Since: May 2005
Been Employed and Working Since: July 2006

=================

Additional Stats about myself and not quite Guild Wars related:
Pets: x4 Dogs (2 10+ y/o, 2 2+ y/o)

=================

Additional Info about myself:
I started playing Guild Wars back in may 2005, when Guild Wars was released not too long ago.
Back then I was still studying, not employed, had more time to spend on Guild Wars now.

Now, I am employed and has been working for a month now.
Even though the "Standard Working Hours" is stated as 8:30am ~ 5:30pm daily from Monday to Friday, that rarely happens.
Almost everyday I am required to work overtime if I am to finish the assigned task on time.

So it is actually more like 8:30am ~ 7:00am daily from Monday to Friday, and sometimes even on Saturday. Plus my girl friend of almost 3 years is living together with me now, to sum it up, that leaves me with about 30 minutes to an hour per day during weekdays Monday till Friday.

As for weekends, I wake up early, so I get to play together with the guildies who lives in America.

=================

Appreciation Message:
Thanks to everyone replied.
Thanks for all the feedback that everyone provided.
Much appreciated.
Thank you.

My "To do List" for this thread:
Make a poll to sort out various things such as
- gender
- country
- age group
- occupation group
- etc

Yeah, also employed full time, but I'm a mother of 2 (the older plays gw) and my partner also plays.

I play after hours (9pm onwards) and on the weekends whenever I win the argument over who gets the comp, me or my son, after all, he's gotta play sometime or the kids are with their grandparents.. which results in marathon-style playing with food and sleep being forgotten about. I'm sure that's not healthy

Yeah, same here. I can only really play a lot on weekends. If I play more than an hour weeknights my newly developed Adult Inner Timepiece tells me I could be doing something more productive.

I also happen to play this game a lot with my sons. The biggest problem comes when the GvGs roll into the 1-2 AM time frame, effectively wiping me out the next day. Oh, and my wife REALLY loves when I'm online for 5 hours....

Thank god for caffeine and jewelery....

Yeah, I got a Full-Time job where I have constant access to the internet. So I get a few hours each night to play, and a few hours at work to surf the forums/whatever else. Gotta love it!

Working shift work messes up your schedule. I play guild wars around the clock based on my sleeping pattern.

Operations must be at the plant 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including all holidays (christmas, new years, easter, etc).

This jungle guide spends more time in Azeroth than Cantha these days. Prefers the jungles of Darnassus to the dreary streets of Budevek.

we are in cdt usa
hubby works IT so hours vary (if the server is down, he maynot even get home)
have no idea what his title is but its a biggie (like manager of security and architecture yadda yadda yadda.......)
Usually he works m-f, but like I stated if something goes wrong, stays at work until its fixed.
pve: yes
pvp: nope---we both suck at it, no reason to hurt us more
hubby got the game when it was released in May '05, I got mine when I returned from teaching in japan in August '05
have both gwp and gwf
pets: no, but lots (thousands) of stuffed toy animal :P

I play a lot during the day and he joins me when he gets home for a few hours and then again as much as we are home/awake for on the weekends and holidays. We play together since its something we can do for pretty cheap and we dont have to leave our house.
