inscribtions = end of inherent mods. now 15^50 will behave like mods, I wonder how much a 15^50 mod will cost though lol. but hey, now I can salvage a 15^50 mod from a sucky skin with high req and put on a better skin with low req. nice....hope i'm not dreaming

lol to inherent mod buying.

20Mil? No thanks, I'll buy a White max dmg Crys Sword for under 100k, and buy the mods for it (15^50 mod probably wont be over 100k after the period of price inflation that comes with chapter release)

Well I can purchase a weapon from a weaponsmith with a +15%^ mod for about 5k plus materials.

Im not worried a bit on inscription mod prices.

What you will pay for now is the Skin of the item.

no mounts, however the fact you ride worms is got to be a major coolness factor.

From the sound of things this game is going to be in the top selling list for sure.

You just spelled Nightfall two different ways, and both of them wrong.

... and Nightfall may be looking good, but it is impossible to top Prophecies.

and for everyone going crazy for the damn wurm, settle down it's not even a "real" mount(to the extent that mounts work in other games). And it looks like there's only one zone or area where you can even use the thing.

I didn't think they could announce any cooler things for the game than what's already been said, but then they just made it 10x more awesome with all of these new details. It definitely sounds like it will be more fun than all the good gameplay of both existing chapters combined. Wow!!

I'm also very glad that they are adding more assassin and ritualist skills, that will certainly make many people happy. Plus, the new "elite mission" area that sounds like it won't be tied to HoH wins or faction farming. Yay!

I'm glad they announced the three challenge missions are seperate from the 20 storyline missions. So we know for sure the 20 are all real missions and not fake missions.

Jeff Grub created Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms when he worked for TSR. He was one of the original D&D greats. According to GuildWiki he wrote the Manual of the Planes.

Ahh, let them have their fun. The wurm sounds like a cool idea to break up the standard quest a little bit.

As for "impossible to top Prophecies." I, too, have great fondness for Prophecy, and I'm not going to say it's better based on an article.

However, it certainly has the potential to be better than Prophecy, and I won't begrudge it's chances!

Lawnmower, Jeff Grubb has written lots of modules, created game settings, actually written RPGs (like Marvel Super Heroes), and written lost of books based on games like Starcraft, WoW, D&D, etc.

http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/g/jeff-grubb/

Raziel665 Did I say bore you? I meant bore me.

Oh well, here goes:

List of Heros

Koss: male, Sunspear (note: the Sunspear is a group made of all Professions, he's not necessarily a Paragon)

Melonni: female(?), foe of the Kourna (?).

Dunkoro: older male, advisor to Sunspears

Acolyte Jin: young female, member of Zaishen order

Acolyte Sousake: Male, Elementalist of Zaishen order

Master of Whispers: Older Male, (Human Elementalist perhaps?)

Zhed Shadowhoof: Male centaur

Tahlkora: female runaway

Margrid the Sly: Male(?) mercenary

Norgu: male actor (Mesmer?)

Goren: male bodyguard

Morgahn: female, former Kourna General (listed as male in PC Gamer as mistake)

(the ones I have questions on their sex is because it is not explicit in the description)

Heroes primeries are set, but you can give them secondaries, supposedly.

There's pictures of the Master of Whispers and Acolyte Jin, and they both look like they'd fit right in with Factions.

i'm also looking forward to the following things mentioned in the article:

- a mission involving mini-games utilizing ale/drunkeness and dancing

- a skill that allows the dervish to transform into an avatar of one of the 5 gods, and momentarily gaining a godly skill of some sotr

- the mysterious 6th god who was not included in the original panthenon of the 5 gods and is nw royally pissed off

- delicious screenshots of flying or at least hovering bird like enemies, w/ wings

- it said something about wings that stuck out on the paragon's armor to help him hover a bit, but i didn't really see that in the images

- floating castles, islands, oasises

- more dialog trees, npc's/collectors whose behavior will change depending on your non-completion/completion of quests

- that realm of torment sounds like it could be another uw/fow =)

i can't wait !

Worm/wurm riding is cool, but i think it won't be too awesome. The realm of torment sounds nice from what I hear from you guys (I need to buy one myself ) Im soooo glad I've already ordered the CE.

mounts would not be an improvement. the worm is not a mount. just like celestial skills are not real skills. You can pretend this is a mount, but its really just a minigame.

and ill take your 'you guys' comment with a grain of salt.
