I have a few concerns (the large dmg/eng/hp font, the glitchy camera), but all in all I am very impressed with ANet's efforts to improve the game and listen to the community.

Dye preview, templates... I'm lovin it! *plays Mc D's music*

seems like they listened to the pvp community a heck of a lot more than to the pve community

I like the update. Yes, I know there will be more scattering enemies, but I think this will make PvE more dynamic and less wall, nuke/SS/barrage, repeat. It looks like snare and while moving skills will finally get some use. Also since enemies tend to scatter no matter what, I think DoT AoE skills can once again be accepted.

At first I didn't like the update, now however I have no problems with it. I am enjoying the added difficulty because of the fact that they scatter.

On a side note I think it is absolute horsepoo that there are people spamming for others to sign the internet petition to remove this update. People fear change way to much. Without the updates that Anet constantly uses to change the AI, and other features in the game, I believe that this game would have gotten boring months ago. Just the fact that they are willing to listen to their customers and apply customer ideas is a great thing....

People just need to be willing to adapt.

I think its a great update. Fixed alot of loose ends and made many improvements.

Just wait for the PVE wheenies to get their QQing out of their system. The smart people among us will find a loophole to exploit then ill the cry babies will go back to their caves. It seems like the only people whining are the farmers which is fine for me.

Just remember that there arent any positive posts because all the people who enjoy this game are to busy playing to bother with the forums. I know I will

Though I myself must stop farming due to this update I really hope it works out the way Anet hopes by crippling the bot community.

If not then I, as well as many other honest monks trying to make a buck, will have been screwed for nothing.

Not sure I am too found of the monster AI, but everything else seems pretty great! I love the new dye screen, materials storage that FINALLY showed up for the Tyrians, and the numbers are fun to watch imo, not sure what I will think about them in pvp but *shrugs*

the only bad part is the aoe date, be honest I am not sure if it is healthy thing.

I love playing elemental, I love the buff they got any way.

I really think that nightfall will be a big hit great

Default the fix needs a fix

ok, i like the update like 90%
i really dig the smarter mops thats a given but maybe its a lil much. like char(being humanoid and smart) vs. a mindless insect that now has much more smarts than it should...........this should also be reflected in agro as a "smart mop"wont chase far but a "dumb" 1 will......

things that REALLY need fixxxed :

1:lllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggg since the update its bad,and i have a great comp and 2 gigs of ram with a high end dsl connection/high end graphics card so i know its not me......

2:the glitchy camera that spins wildy out of control(i almost threw up)

3a:i like the idea of smarter mops,i really really do, but when you are chasing and chasing and chasing and chasing.......it gets way old, im not saying that the ai shouldnt run but why have it run faster than the players....alot faster...i mean at least give us a chance to catch them before the make it all the way to the other side of the map.(we should all move realitvly the same speed(maybe based on size?) and if they need more speed they should have to take a boost skill like the rest of us.) (i was recently chasing a char shaman who could out run my warrior using sprint..........thats just plan silly)

3b:the mops running really is the pits for spell casters as they run out of range before the spell is cast(even though i can be 4 agro circles away and still get hit by mop spells),so can we(spell casters) be able to cast on the run?????instead of haveing to stand there.....or be able to cast spells like mops(as an example:hydras and meteor i can be long gone but i still get hit, unlike my meteor spell that drops in a empty space when the mop moves)

4:fix the old dyes to stack on new ones i mean they revert the ffs and rockmolders....and not the dyes thats just a lil sad(and since we get 3 new colors can we have a storage for them like materials???

5:during an armor/weapon upgrades show before and after effects of adding something BEFORE it is modded, maybe its just me but i have had probs figuring out the vitae runes....

6:the damage/energy numbers in combat can we at least have the option to have them stay a small size instead of the big then shrinking,if ya dont see this as a problem try minnion master out.....its really hard to see through

7:glitchy minnions i almost have to pull them along instead of them following me i arive like 5-10 seconds at an enemy before they get around to showing up,if they show at all, mixed minnions seem to stall and get hung up on each other.

these are not so much complaints as they are need fixs

keep up the good work ................

So far the update seems very nice, but I still need to play it more to get a better feel for it. I was elated to see that my Prophecies characters now get material storage, but after setting one up I was disappointed to see that it only holds up to 250 of each item. I have items like 3 stacks of 250 iron ingots (750 total) and for some reason I thought I could put all 3 stacks into material storage, but alas it seems I can only do 1. I guess I shouldn't complain because it is really cool to have it....just let me down a bit because my expectations were higher.

The templates have to be the secksiest thing since liquid soap or sliced bread. Seriously. It completely makes it, so you no longer have to create a new character to reroll. Just simply press a button, and you have the armor, the skills, and attributes of what you have had before. Sure, the initial setup takes a TINY bit longer than original rerolling, but after that little storm, the rest of it is smooth sailing.

I also like the skill nerfs. Nothing happened that REALLY screwed me over (as I PvP more than PvE), but some things got nerfed and buffed that definitly needed to be.

Lets see...

1.) Took away solo farming - YES! I'm sorry, but I can't spend hours whoring over monsters for platinum. When I get on GW, I want to have fun and play with people. 55 mokning is basically an exploit in a game, and i'm glad that it's been gotten rid of.

2.) Added extremely efficient features - Skill Template...has renewed my faith in Anet. Switching professions in towns and outposts, just love it. ALSO, the memory of skills when you take damage, is the most awesome thing ever.

3.) AoE Nerf - Now, people can actually USE other builds besides the cokie cutter ones, such as SS necro, Echo Nuker, etc. Now, assassins, mesmers, elementalists besides FIRE, and so many other builds that have been shunned, will soon be used in general PvP! Hurrah!

Only had a couple of hours play with the updates but so far I've not encountered any problems, the UI updates are great, the new salvaging is great, the new AI doesnt pose any problem for anyone but solo farmers and even then, after one or two solo runs, it didnt seem like a big deal to me.

The good outweighs the bad for me big time.

Its funny how people like the farming nerf as they don't want to waste hours farming to buy things. Bad News you get to spend longer farming as you'll be making less per trip/or they take longer(depends on if you party or try and solo) and with less gold and items coming in things go up. For example with a lower amount of ectos coming in they will in course rise.

I think the attunements are bugged. They return 1 energy less.

Still I love this update pretty much, hope these minor bugs are fixed ASAP.
