is anybody else having trouble making pvp chars? i just tried to make one and it took me through pve char creation instead... must be another unexpected bug with the update

Ah inscriptions do seem nice though. Get rares skined weapons (in Elona) with perfect stats for a low cost (hopefully) or not... lol if i get the rare skin/mod.

they changed pvp creation, thats all. theres new equipment creation once you get to the outpost after creating.

Anet, this update (not even considering Nightfall) is great.
I've been blown away. I also love the concept with Armor Inscriptions, no more multi-sets of armor and giving material storage to all now.
(And info about the glitch with the greens that are being fixed).
Anet, You more then have me with an Chapter 4 CE pre-order.

Seems like restricting insignias and inscriptions to Elonian weapons and armor kind of defeats the purpose of the damn things...
though I'm glad we get the secondary-swapping skill screen back, and better henchie AI...
The new weapon and armor creator is pretty cool too, actually...

Yeah, I went to test this out with my 55 Necro and I got kinda disappointed :/
Not sure about the others...
Edit: Goodbye to spirit bond, unless you like spam that spell :|

I love the update but they nerfed the prevalent forms of farming (55/SS, SoJ, Spirit Bond got a minor nerf but it's bad enough to prevent any real use, Silver Armor). Oh well, maybe they'll make it so everything is dirt cheap now?

You are now able to obtain the campaign-exclusive Heroes, even if you don't have Nightfall.
Gain Olias is in Lion's Arch by the Docks, Gain Zenmai is in Kaineng Center near the Benjunkian Pier.
