I remember a thread about localisation but i can't find it for some reason. Îf you happen to know its whereabouts and it is not dead in some graveyard, feel free to link to that one instead -and a moderator should then close this one.
Anyways with the introduction of Nightfall, a new horde of Translation mistakes is on the loose. Time to collect them all so A-Net can easily update the faulty translations.

English -> German
Words -> what it was translated into (what the translation reversed means) - what it should translate into

Broad Head Arrow -> Stahlspitzen Pfeil (Steel Head Arrow) - Breitkopf Pfeil
The Great Escape -> Die Fesseln sprengen (Blowing the chains) - Die große Flucht
Yohlon Haven -> Yohlon Winkel (Yohlon Corner) -> Yohlon Hafen
Dejarin Estate -> Mehjok Bastei (i love this one... Mehjok Bastion) -> Dejarin Anwesen
Like a rolling stone -> Marmor Stein und Eisen bricht (Marble, Stone and Iron breaks... a copyrighted title of a folk song) -> Wie ein rollender Fels
A lot of written text during cutscenes is still partially english.

There were more of them, but these were the most notable ones. I will add as i see them. Especially the Dejarin Translation is totally off. For some funny reason the german map in the box shows Dejarin Anwesen, but the game translates it into Mehjok for no reason.

Feel free to add as well if you've noticed translation mistakes in GuildWars. I will look closer the second time i go through, sort of rushed it for now.

That is really really odd. I play the game in English, but I understand all the European languages GW has...and I haven't found a bug like that yet.
