Default Speeding through the game.

Well knowing that some people people the game within TWO days of it being out is the game really that short?

I own NF of course and I just got to the last mission on the newbie island. Well I know Factions was very short but is NF like that too?

Also I'm curious about the feedback on those who've beaten the game or close to it. You like it? Hate it? High points, low points?

No real need for Spoilers just curious about the game itself and worth the money if it seems so SHORT.

I completed today, and the game is great. Just because people have beaten it doesn't mean it's short. We grinded to beat it. It's much longer then factions. The storyline is great. The missions are great. Overall, NF is great.

I liked the campaign much better than factions. It isnt really short. Plenty of quests and missions to do. The Master Difficulty quests provide some excitement for those who like PvE challenges.

I'd rate it slightly higher than prophecies going by the quality, while substance-wise, the skills, items etc in any expansion wont ever match the original game ofcourse.

The hero system is fabulous as well.

Speeding in Nightfall? I'm afraid I'm gonna have to write you a ticket *bah dum, pish* (bad joke)

I don't think it's short, I'm still only about half way through on my main character, mostly becuase I took forever to decide between Master of Whispers and Margrid the Sly. Also, I spent some time on my new paragon, mostly farming stuff for Hallowe'en stuff.

As for me, I've got 3 characters in NF to attend to, plus 5 more characters in Prophecies who have come/are coming to Elonia. I still have stuff to do in Prophecies, so I shouldn't get bored at all before the next campaign comes out. Oh well, if I do get bored, I'll buy some more slots and make some PvP characters. I need some PvP experience anyhow.

Nope, isnt short at all. I think if I rushed this fast through Prophesies as I am trying to complete Nightfall, I would have been done in the 2nd day, instead in Nightfall I am busy for +3 days now and I am almost done.

Btw... the storyline is really something you don't want to miss. Compared to the previous chapters, the makers really put some effort into it.

Completing the game actually is only about 46% of the continent.

Brilliant game, much better than both previous games imo

I don't know how you guys do it! I bought Prophecies about a month ago, and although I have several characters, my main 2 have only completed 11 and 14/25 missions, and I feel like I'm on it 24/7!

So you skip quests?

I'm not doing most of the newb island quests now (the ones in those annoying plains, anyway). The rewards can be gotten faster and blargh. Now working my way through the Cliffs area, played around 2 hours last night. Lv6 dervish w/ 2 heroes. Loving it. I also love how in this game, unlike Factions, they don't start visually-beating you to death w/ the storyline (at least up until this point) so you don't feel incredibally rushed. The scenery is amazing.

A lot of people will "SPEED" through any game they get, especially kids. Maybe that's why so many games have God Mode cheats in them. Just because some are getting to the end game of NF in a couple of days, don't assume there isn't lots of content. I remember peeps saying they finished Prophecies in under a day.

Personally, I'm not even getting into NF till the Halloween Event gets over.

Absolutely brilliant game and even after beating the primary missions in two days, plenty & plenty of other things to do still .

Main purpose for me to beat them so fast was to unlock places with a character that is getting the cartographer title and see what kind of armours there are.

I beat the story in 2 days because I was.....obsessed o_o.

Brilliant game, even better than prophecies imo.. Like some others here I completed it in two days but that was only because it was so addictive! Story is probably the best of the lot + the missions are a lot more varied, not just kill kill kill etc

Prophecies has been out almost 2 years, most of us have had plenty of time to beat the game several times over

The game is not short at all, it's rather long. It took me about 39 hours to go through the main story line.

IIRC i took my about 44 hours to complete Tyria, but heroes speeds it up, and i've become a much better player since then.

GG Anet, Nightfall is wonderful.

I finished the game, but I really rushed through it... now I'm gonna go back and take my time capping elites and getting cartographer. So, no Elona isn't small.

Nightfall > Prophecies >>>>> Factions

Well, due to the fact that our copies of Nightfall havent arrived yet we've been playing with 10 hour buddy keys since friday and are barely over lv 10 after 9.5 hours and we're already feeling like we are rushing too much because of the 10 hour limit.

Some people just want to get to the end as fast as they can, others like to take their time and enjoy the trip, to each his own but the feeling I get is that NF is definitely longer and with a slower buildup then Factions was.
