Spent 5 hours doing quests for the Vabbian princes. Not a damn dye has dropped yet. Meanwhile, my guildie gets 3 whites in his excursions. That just aint right.

1 day of gargoyle farming usually gets me 2 dyes, today I got none. only 1 in presearing also. out of ~ 10 charr runs.

Found one dye today. The number of dyes I have in my inventory is about just over the number of weeks I've owned GW's.

So if during the weekend I find a second dye, I'll be at twice my normal rate...

i rarely get any dye drops to begin with. during the past month of around 20-25hrs of game play, ive gotten maybe 1-2 dyes [no blacks or white]. i c no point in farming for dyes with my current drop rate

Last night, I got about 6 soloing and killing everything in Jarin Plains. Best was silver. I usually get 2 or 3 dyes here, so statistically, it does seem to be double.

Then I headed out, briefly, into Zehlon Reach and got 1 black - my first ever, though it doesn't beat the white I got there 2 days ago. I was with Heroes, because I'm less confident soloing here. Will try again, with less backup, later today.

I got a Black last night...

That makes 3 Blacks and a White in 2 weeks, and I gotten 75% of those just PvEing.

i did whole bunch of quests got my dervish to lvl 20 and got him almost to vabbi and not a single dye has dropped...

So much about this doubble drop weekend... If u need to farm for dyes why would they nerf it than... ah well i already started complaining...

What I got today? Zip. Nothing. As I only have found 1 dye in my Dervish career (I'd say about 25 hours of questing) I'm not having much hope.

I'm leveling up my Dervish and got some more dyes, including a silver and a white. Keep trying, you'll get some.

Day One of Double Dye Drop Weekend: Nothing. 6.5 hours of playing and not a single drop as I was out questing and such.

Lets see how day two goes.

Edit: 3 days - 3 dyes....this is double? I think not. I get 3 times this many in one farming run! lol. was fun anyway.

Agreed that I'm not seeing a huge increase either. I think the heros are getting them all.

I was getting a lot of dye drops before the weekend. I did get one black yesterday doing a mission. I'm going to take my minion master out alone and see if that is in the fact the case, but I'm starting to side with the folks that are saying drops for hero's should be going to the person care taking the heros. >.<

A watched pot doesn't boil. The chance for dye drops may have increased, but they still drop at random.

My moringing o Day 2 was slow, I tried my low Dervish character, and I tried my Level 20 Ranger.

I was killing things left and right and I did see an increase in the drops of "Unidentified" weapons, however in 3 hours I only got a purple dye.

Better, I've never gotten dye drops 2 days in a row, let alone 2 in the same day, I was under the impression that I would be seeing more of them dropping.

If they do this to reduce the cost(supply and demand) I think they should up it a little more.
