Unhappy Why all the misery?

Why are there so many negative threads around?

"NF is this, NF is that ... GW is dieing. NF is too easy, NF is too hard."

Just play the games. Yeah, there are some problems but one thing you can say about Anet is that the DO listen to us and DO change things when they see fit to. Just bare with it and if the thing that bothers you isn't sorted, contact them, they're willing to listen.

Personally I love all three GW episodes (although I could live without Factions).

Now c'mon people, group hug.

Why are you so worried about what other people think about Guild Wars? Besides, the last time I checked, Guru was a place where people could take part in rational discussion about Guild Wars issues. Some of us don't like the direction the game has taken (with regard to heroes). You and others are free to disagree, but complaining about threads that don't support your personal position seems overly defensive. Instead you could just add your assent to an already open thread on how great Nightfall is or just make another "I love Nightfall" thread.

Yeah, and those are the people who just stand around the Random Arenas all day complaing and making perverted jokes. I personally think Nightfall is the best Guild Wars installment to date.

Nightfall only truly gets difficult in the "Domain of Fear".

If you haven't been there, heres the scoop,If you have 15 DP,chances are a group can pretty well wipe you in a matter of seconds.

It's a fact.Level 28 Mobs that enjoy chewing bubblegum and raping your face.Though the game becomes a cakewalk after said domain.

It's a known fact that the people who moan and whine and cry about the game are the games biggest fans of all and still continue to play avidly no matter what the problem may be..

You miss understand me.

I don't disagree with (some) of the points people are making about the game, I'm just saying the good out-weigh the bad and things are not as bad as some of the posts are making out. GW is still a superb game and Anet are trying different things to keep the game fresh. Some work, some dont. Personally (and this IS only my opinion) I think the game is fine. Not 100% but still a brilliant way to spend your time infront of the computer.

If anyone seems defensive, it's you. Chill out, play the game and enjoy it for what it is.

Hehe, that made me smile. I rearranged the words a bit to suit my thinking a little better...

Well, that's the point of gw Fansites - for problems/suggestions/complains ncsoft supports advises to discuss in THESE forums.
Things dont get better just by themselves, if there are problems with the direction Gw is taking ( solo massive singleplayer online game? :X ) it's our right - no, it's our DUTY to discuss 'em here

btw, trolling about trolls is still trolling

Well, thanks for making yourself clear.

EDIT: Now that you added the "If anyone seems defensive, it's you. Chill out, play the game and enjoy it for what it is." I suppose I'll live up to your expectations and become defensive.

Thanks for the advice, but I don't need it or your directions on how I should spend my time. I'm free to post my thoughts to this board whenever I choose as long as I obey the board rules. Your wisdom is not wanted or necessary when it comes to my enjoyment of Guild Wars. Thanks for listening.

I never said i was 'worshiping' or 'fawning' or 'gushing' about the game. It is a fact that the people who whine are the people that 'usualy' care most about the game. I mean sure there are people who moan for moaning sakes but 'most' moan because they care about the game they play and wish some of they're constructive (not always, mind you but one can always wish..) critisism would be listened to and added to the game..

*edit*

My first post wasn't actually sarcastic (now that i read it, it may come across as so) but some of this post has some elements of sarcasm, remember to get those sarcasm meters out! >_>

lol I ain't trolling. Again, I'm saying that the majority of posts on here are negative. Surely you must find something good to say about the game? Why else would you be playing it. Besides, the posts I'm talking about are not just general discussions about problems with the game, they're doom and gloom about how GW is dieing or heading in the wrong direction. How can this be when most people think NF is the best campaign to date?

We don't always agree on things and yes, we should discuss problems that arise, but to go to the lengths of saying the game is on it's last legs is taking it too far. I never once said we should shut up and put up did I?

There are things about NF I don't like, and will discuss on here with others in the hope Anet change them, but again, I think GW is absolutely THE best game on the market today. It's the only game I continually play atm, which is something for someone with an attention span of a nat.

So back to my main point which is play the game, enjoy it and help Anet get things right but don't go all miserable and predict the end of the world because things aren't 100%

Actually my point was to show that words like "whine" and "moan" are pejorative terms that cause discussions to degenerate into flamewars. You're strong reaction to my pejorative usage of "gush" and "fawn" proves my point. Using either type of language can give people the wrong impression and make them feel unjustly accused/labeled.

I much prefer the term criticize/critique to things like whine/moan/bitch. It's far less inflammatory.

Hmmm something i didn't mean my post to say i suppose. What i was trying to say in both my posts was simply that the people who are supposedly posting negative threads (other than the guild wars is destroying it's self ect) are usualy the people who care the most about the games (whether it's a corpg, mmorpg a single player, ect. I mean i refuse to believe that people moan simply for the sake of it. Sorry if i didn't get that across in my previous statements, i'm not used to people reading so deeply into my small posts.

Erm... what about that one inch? You know the one on the top right corner of the map... I'm not to found of that inch... Anet definetly needs to nerf it or something...

(And for all you people who didn't understand that.... /sarcasm!)
