White drop rate is higher then black, black will always be the most exspensive until they add gold dye with a lower drop ratio.

Gold dye will happen..Anet reads this, big boom for shields AR+10 vs XX a while ago and boom green shields with those stats appear..

I can't believe white dye shot up too like 70k in the first few minutes of the update, it made me laugh when brown dye was like 5k aswell and now 120g at the trader, I hope that white dye will continue to drop ^^

Personally I think white dye should have replaced dye remover not grey dye.

As much as I like the white dye I feel when my NF monk gets far enough through Factions it will still be Black Kurzick ftw! Tis by far the nicest monk armor I've ever seen... Even though white symbolises purity, which I guess is a good thing in a monk, I prefer smiting!

if you want to look good, you have to pay, and in most armors, you look very good in black or white

. I thinnk the prices will be somewhat the same.
+ they added a new money sink another rare dye.

I think white dye will become the next standard for silver dye. And silver dye will become common for everyone. The price would hover around 7 to 8k and i think black dye will go back to the status of being one of the rarest dye drop you can find.

This is completely anecdotal, but I got my first black dye drop in 15 months yesterday. While I may have finally gotten lucky, perhaps the drop rate has been increased. I think it's absurd that black and white are so expensive. These are the 2 colors that work best for making pigments. If these dyes were cheaper we'd see a lot more different colors in the game. Forrest green, navy, tangerine,powder blue would all become more realistic possibilities. Also you'd be able to experiment with colors more, dye your armor for holliday's and so forth. In short I'd like to see black and white dye drop to around 200 gold.

wow, silver dye is close to 400 gold and that is considered afforable for some players. Guess white will become the next expensive dye under black.

People had been calling for white for the longest time. Those people went straight out and started buying, so the price was temporarily inflated. The demand has shrunk, as those people have acquired their dyes, so the price is falling accordingly. >.>

Black and White should hover at around the same price, assuming their drop rates are nearly identical.

IMO, Black and White will wind up having a relatively equal value in the long run. Maybe this is the "good versus bad" mentality that we all have ingrained in us...I dunno.

I personally would choose Burnt Orange over either of those boring colors any day of the week

i believe white is considered to be a SHADE and not a COLOUR!

same goes for black aswell
