no reason to pay ---have tons of computer games sitting on my shelves that I could play for 'free' since I already own them......or I have tons of books that I have been neglecting to read, so I would catch up on that instead.

If Guild Wars goes to pay-to-play, I will pay for NWN2 and play that instead. Adding a subscription changes not only how you pay for the game, but the nature of the game itself as it adds more grind to get people to keep playing. This is exactly why I play GW over WOW.
