For those who have been around long enough, some of the points that the OP brought up were at one point or another discussed. Though i wont be as cynic as most replies on this thread, i would like to request where the OP obtained these information from and their credibility so that we may perhaps examine them ourselves.

Wow, this thread is drawing a Lot of attention. Either everyone is in a good mood or people are starving for ANY hint of a change in gameplay. I'll go with the latter.
P.S.I think this thread would be fine in Sardelacs.

Without a decent resource this is a nice troll thread.
In for lock or even delete.

Why always the rush around here to lock or delete things?
Let a discussion go where it goes, even if you don't like it, as long as it isn't inflamatory. Often something interesting can come out of something nonsensical or -initially- off topic, but later on.

But it's trolling. Which is, IMO, worse than flaming.

Just because it starts there, doesn't mean it has to end there, unless you silence it.
There is way to much rush to shut up discussion around here. I see topics closed before they have a chance to develop on a regular basis here, and it just keeps good ideas from actually coming out through developing discussion.

HERE is an example of taking a maybe troll thread and switching it to legit discussion. Discussion I would actually like to continue.

My preferences on each of these ideas:
Auction House: Shrug. It would give us more 'moral authority' in putting weight on hostile measures such as bans to people who trade spam in local chat. So I think its a good idea. People like me with zero interest in trade could avoid the auction house. People who want to buy could go there.
Races: No elves, but I would like Char, Dwarves, Skale, and the frog guys in the Nightfall Art, as well as Tengu.
Ship Arena: Is it too small? Otherwise, would be cool if it was multi-leveled with decks and thin hallways...
Player-v-life:
Good idea, but not sure if it could fit into the GW format. License a table-top RPG off of GW is what I recommend.
My dream side-product, speaking of licensing... would be to see them sell high-rez 3D models for fan-artists. I'd love to have a high poly count version of a Skale, or some of the Nightfall architecture. There is commercial value in selling pre-made 3D models to artists (witness Daz Studios - which has made so much money on this they have begun buying up various 3D hobbyist art tools in assorted corporate buyouts), and GW has a very high 'branding' potential in its look.
Doubt I'd see it, but I'd love to.

/NO auction house PLEASE

Try Final Fantasy XI was one of the 1st to have in game auction house before WoW.
Also unless I see someone showing proof that GW Vengeance has a trade mark by ncsoft or anet... not going to believe this.
Auction/Trade house - the developers in the interview mentioned a need for this to help cut down trade spam or at least put normal players on more equal footing as the traders (players who visit AH/TH are less likely to get rip off due to lack of knowledge of prices).
Other races - They have stated this could happen (non-human race human players). I do expect Anet to be creative in this department.
Something different, I been hearing grumbling with something different. Trade skills could be rumor mil after the chinese interview, because Anet is trying to break in to china and "trade" skills is something Chinese players like. If it true, as long as I have my trusted collector and npc armor/weapon smiths still, I'm cool.

Guild Wars: Outside
Will feature such additions as offline play, global effect "the sun," and PvR - player vs reality where the player will have to get a "job," a new game mechanic where one gains ranks from peon to manager, in order to gain money to buy clothes at special shops which specialize in pop culture and formal attire.

Ok then, enough people have asked for clarification as to where you acquired this dubious information. So why don't you post your sources?

Sooner or later they are going to run out of possible new professions that will be 'different enough' to keep us buying - that's probably where we'll start seeing "two new races" per chapter...
When? Who knows, but I'm guessing it will happen eventually.
There's a general point there too, as noted above me, something different.
They can only keep going the same way for so many chapters before it gets old. I think they can squeeze a few more chapters out before they have to really shake it up. But the reviews of Nightfall all complaining it was just 'more of the same' show that some people, at least in the game-reviewer community, feel the point has already reached.
Eventually, they will need -something different-.
What? I don't know. Races, 'Sims', trade skills... something... hopefully something new and not something we can all 'predict' by looking at competing older games.

One word describes this thread, Speculation. Without even posting any sources to back up your claims, all of what you said are untrue facts.

Is there a source for this? Sounds plausible, but how do you know people on other forums are telling the truth, its probably another case of "heard from a friend of a friend of mine" rumor.

I would like to take a moment to remind individuals that intentionally posting untrue or misleading information outside off the Off-Topic/Absurd forum and stating it as fact for whatever the purpose is a form of trolling/flamebaiting, and will not be tolerated.
