Tips for running to Droknars Forge?
So I'm going through the game for a second time as a Monk/Mesmer and just hit Beacon's Perch. Now, I'm tempted to try and run to Droknars Forge for s***s 'n giggles but not sure how the heck people do it at like lvl 3 (I'm lvl 11) and seemingly solo, or so the bragging implies. So, does anyone have any tips on what skills to bring, henchmen/no henchmen, runes, anything like that? =)

People get friends to run them through while they sit at the entrance of the maps, or cautiously follow them. Any bragging otherwise is just nonsense, the monster placement is quite precise to keep low levels from trying to dash through.

There is no way anyone can run it solo at your level or class even. I've tried to fight with several groups of 20's through it and.. well lets just say its not easy getting a good group of 20's. Made it through the 1st zone twice. Then gave up and went through the desert in about 4 hours (would probably take longer to try to go through lornars pass.)
W/Mo's are the only class that technically should be able to do it. Balanced stance, mending, sprint or charge!. Don't even waste your time trying, the run is ridiculously long. Probably about a 30 minute straight run if you didn't fight anything and waited for mobs. And finding someone that can actually do it is basically impossible. Most people that would be able to do it don't bother wasting their time on it.

I normally would not suggest paying a rusher, but the pass is difficult. You may want to find yourself a rusher. They usually charge about 5k. From what I understand, it is common to pay 1/2 at Camp Rankor and the balance at Droknar's Forge. Since I'm done with PvE missions and quests, I would consider this as a means of income except the fact that as an El/Mo, I do not possess the skill set needed to make the run.

Hehehe...I tried this with my Mo/N, avoided the aggro as best as possible, except for the fact that there's a chokepoint, a tunnel entrance at the bottom of Lornar's pass where 2 Frost Wurms live...with suffering and feast of corruption...

More than 2 there, I've seen atleast 4, 3 of which were up all at one time in the same spot (heard the fourth behind me while I attempted to kill those 3 as they had become stuck on each other)

It can be done, and worms can be countered with Balanced stance.
