Trvth that's cause Nartuo has that big picture up there.
Also I think that person up there pretty much stated Anets, answer. They will disagree with why we are bored and won't fix the AI. They aren't going to change it, what they might do is fix the bugs because only a lackluster company would leave them the way they are. So if you're not satisfied with the AI - the bugs, then stop playing cause I doubt it will change.

Also, it's nice to know what's going to happen, one of the less good things about A-net is that some things come totally unexpected. Sure, the update was a good surprise to some, but for me, and others, it meant chaos. I was in the MIDDLE of doing something, planned it all out, if it was going as planned, I'd have all the guild traders in my guild now, and maybe a nice FoW armor.
But no, I wake up on a sunny day, get something to drink, get on GW and see that everything is screwed over.
Anyway, if a dev/Gaile reads this: Please tell me what your stances are on farming, and what will happen in the future.

exactly the same with running
anet stated in prophecies that they had no problem with runners (nerfs followed but is still possible) then in next chapter running is totally killed by gates.
part of the reason i wont be getting nightfall, too many nerfs and now the game gets boring very quickly
edit: and before anyone says its because runners are greedy, my old guild did free droks runs and mainly we used to just have guild races around prophecies from area to area just for fun.

Hmmmm A-net's as blind as a dolyak if they can't see that the current AI is wrong, though.
I also remember reading somewhere that the AI is still a test, though, so maybe it'll become even worse, all casters kiting, warriors spiking the monks...
What I don't understand is why A-net doesn't say why they changed the AI in the first place. It's not to make it more PvP like, or else they failed miserably at trying to do that.
Is it only to stop bots, then? So what if bots find a way to exploit other skills/missions/quests/whatever. Wil everything be nerfed to hell?
I think that A-net's bot problem shouldn't affect normal players. The bots even made the economy better for us, most things are cheap, now look, all materials are expensive, even Minor Vigor is 1K +.
Or does A-net listen to all people complaining that the golden 15^50 rare skinned weapons are worth 100K + x ecto? In that case, they could just as well remove greens from the game, cause everyone can afford the gold version of it soon -_-

Woah this post is still going on!
It surprises me too how Gaile was quick to respond to the complain of:"Varesh is too small and she needs a shite" and others already mentioned.
Well to me this is clearly a response too, they will do nothing at all about it, they don't even care to tell us that.
If A-Net doesn't care about us, why should we waste our time waiting for a replay from them? If you are bored, find something else to do, if you are not bored continue to play ......... who cares? Not them!

If you can handle SOE and their amazing service... /clears throat
EQ2 is also wonderfuly made and has plenty to do. It's a far change from the first EQ. I've gone that route and am happier for it. Only $9.99 for the classic and $34.99 for all the expansions (in one box). Together, that's cheaper than the circus clown AI of Nightfall.
Still would like to finish Nightfall, but wont bother till the AI is changed away from circus clown mode.
Thought I would throw up another option for those tired of waiting for something to do. /shrug

How much is the monthly fee? (ashamed of the question, that I resort to this level because of ArenaNet)

I too think it's silly that Varesh gets a few pixels taller and a scythe and a 2-page thread about loving ANet (which I did post in, it still remains) gets a response when we don't hear a peep from anyone in here...Personally I don't think Gaile or anyone else will get flamed for posting here...most of the remainder of people posting here are ready to listen to what ANet has to say about this.
And even if she did get flamed, uh, she's ANet's Community Relations. Community Relations is not ignoring anyone who has some harsh words about the state of the game and only paying attention to "Please ANet, make my mini-pet taller!". The job entails listening to the general clamor of the GW community, which I am still an active part of, and responding to that clamor in some way.
Now obviously not everyone is bored, but I still think there should be some response to this thread.

I certainly would not flame anyone from ANet who posted in this thread. I simply want to know if the problems are being addressed or if they are here to stay. If they're being addressed, ANet will be thanked, and if not, then I probably will not post here again because I will be done with GW.

I admit i am getting bored since nightfall, people dont want to group for missions and quests as much because of heros,
and the replay value has all but dissapeared because farming is now fruitless and takes way too much time, Also the aggro in the torment lvls is unbearable and is no fun whatsoever to play through.

Old school farming in Prophecies was the most fun I've ever had in Guild Wars. The game just isn't the same anymore... I don't see myself buying the next expansion. It's unfortunate because I had high hopes for this game.

I'm pretty sure everyone is waiting for the soon to be released "huge" expansion before they make up their mind about Anet. Even I ,a die hard "glass is half full" type, am getting tired of the AI change and Anet's lack of response to the GW community's complaints.
I'm not talking about the complaints posted by farmers. They have stated that they are still able to easily make tons of plat farming. Anet's lack of response to posts talking about enemy warriors kiting, enemies being aggro'd from 2.5 aggro bubbles away, hench/hero casters constantly interrupting themselves etc. is what's irritating me.
But still /not_bored. I still love the game. I just think Anet hasn't done a very good job keeping the gaming community informed.

I think he's trying to say that you wouldnt be having fun in GW if you werent playing with friends. I dont see how that proves or disproves anything though.

It prooves a significant amount. It showes how I once was, before my 1,000 MEMBER ALLIANCE DISBANDED and quit, along with my real life friends. So, no matter what Anet did, you couldn't be bored, because you would still have this companionship..it's something I had in this game..before people realized the truth about it. And with many things in this game requiring team efforts, truly with no friends now = no success. Sure, success maybe with heroes, but that is subpar in my opinion.

It's a seriously great place, and I have tons of friends and fun, and definetely keeps me hanging in there. And if THAT ever goes down... *thbbbbbpt*
