Default Expansion Issues

Hi

I'm sure we were all very exited when factions came out, hey, it was something new and original and the map layout was different and so on. But when Nightfall came out there was a small amount of dissapointment hanging about. I mean yes, the idea is different, but look at the layout. small starter island, big rest island. Connecting mission in between. Ok, so they put heroes in ad all that, but I think scince Prophesies was so diverse in it's landscape, Nightfall was a bit of a letdown in terms.<<<IF>>> Anet come out with another expansion, I would like to see them take a bit more time over the matter, maybe make the lanscape a bit more diverse. Post your comments.

i wasnt dissapionted. I think it would be cool to have a presearing type area....the starter island is a little long compared to factions but its much better than shing jea.

The problem with very diserve environments is that you'll run out of idea extremely fast. Anet's aim is to continue the GW series for probably at least 4 more expensions. However, if all ideas are already used, what can they use?

I found the idea to make the starter area an island great, both for Factions and NF. The NF starter island is also wastly better then Shing Jea, you actually feel at home there, rather than some sort of hurried training.

More Diverse? I found the landscapes to be quite diverse in NF and unlike Factions there weren't areas that once completed were dreaded to return to.(the city) I think that some of the end game areas are a bit...blah. Overall though NF has plenty of variety and pretty things to look at and has a more realistic feel than the other chapters. Factions transitions between terrain were sometimes quite unbelievable.(Grass-Snow-Grass)

I want my arcane sanctuary in GW (Diablo2 for those who don't know).
Torment is getting close but not close enough.
