Um - I don't remember saying that you could get rich that way.
The fact is that in order to progress the factions PVE side you have to actually reach a faction total - I think it's 10k so it's very feasible to leech and reach that.
You also have to understand that some people absolutely HATE PVP and factions forces you to do this - I wouldn't be surprised if those people would rather leech than play.

The point of my post is that I find it hard to understand how Anet considers leeching - which many people hate and find ruins groups doing FA - perfectly ok and yet want to nerf all solo farming which doesn't harm anyone else in any group.

Solo farming for me is like playing a game on "nightmare" difficultly - I believe people should be allowed to play the game at whatever difficulty they want.
Obviously Anet disagrees or else they agree but it's overridden by Anets hate of commercial farmers....

Uh, wait, hold on.... what?

You are not forced to play PvP in Factions.
Did you forget the dozens of quests available that gives you factions points, as well as repeatable ones that does?
You are NOT forced play Fort Aspenwood to obtain faction points of 10k.
You can easily get 10k factions by completing multiple quests.

Doing quest runs for 10 times to farm the remaining faction vs standing in FA for an hour.

Geez, that's a very good choice... heavily laden with morality too!

If Anet didn't insist on making the gates locked which depends on completion of stupid quests perhaps people wouldn't have been so annoyed by it.
