OK total let down! Razah a rit? That totally sucks!!!! Hero armor??? What crap! So not cool.... The only thing I might look forward to right now is the weapons. I'm totally not happy about this. If this new "mission" is a challenge mission I'm going to scream!!! Wow A-net, good going on changing razah to a rit hero, thats really crappy IMO and i HAVE factions...

Edit. Ah it seems new armours will be for heroes. Hmm, wonder if they are first hero armours that'll cost something or some quests there that reward players with armour parts.

I don't know if it's just me but that first screenie reminds me of the Saarlac from Return Of The Jedi.

FTR, I never b*tched about a rit hero... Basically it's just another feature that's not included in the game as described by the manual. Razah was supposed to be a variable hero...

I know, A Ritualist hero is sorta of a let down.
Whatever a Rit can Do, Paragons can do Better.
Not to mention what was previously said about People who don't have Factions will be stuck with an incompleat Hero. (Skills)
Its no longer a "Variable profetion" Hero, Which sounded as thought he could change his Primary Profetion, In which case people with Factions, people could have gotten an Rt If they chose to, AND it would have been compleat.
As far as any other part of the DoA, I am quite happy.

I'm not sure why people are so sore about Razah being a ritualist... if you need a hero of a different profession use a different hero. Not to mention a character with a variable primary would be insanely difficult to choose weapons and runes for.
It's also sad that so many people are complaining about the lack of new armor, when they never said there would be new armor in the first place. Maybe ANet should never tell us anything until it actually happens to avoid misinterpretation?

Really though, we already have two heroes in most Professions. I wouldn't count out getting more as time goes by, which would make the whole variable profession thing superfluous.

I have a leet build for my Rt Hero already...
Slot 1 = Soul Twisting
Slot 2 = w/e Spirit
Slot 3 = Shelter
Slot 4 = Rez Sig
Slots 5-8 = Empty
Get Soul Twisting going on the first generic spirit. Put up Shelter and disable slot 2. Throw in Boon if needed and watch in amazement the pure skill of crapping spirits!

...Rit is good tho- not just good, but AWESOME Im about a million times better at Rit than I have ever been with a monk (and the skill unlockds/time played on my account prove it: you guys would laugh so hard if you saw my small collection of Monk elites..)

If most means half, then yes. But I'm not upset with Razah being a ritualist. As time goes on, there will be more heroes most likely, as you state. Obviously the system is a big success, and to not continue it after Nightfall would be poor planning on ANet's part (even though I hate its effect on PuGs).
Because of how armor works for Heroes, I'm guessing it was too complicated or annoying to find a reasonable way to work it out for a variable Hero, besides making him have multiple armor sets. Maybe they ended up not liking the idea of having a variable hero afterall. Who knows, and oh well. I'm more excited/worried about the new areas and not another hero.

Well, the variable Hero thing would work if you allowed him to access to something like the PvP Equipment window, but y'know, give them an inch and they'll take the whole yard.

Well what doesn't make sense if Razah is a Rit, is this one of ANet's way of "tieing" the games together?
Scenario: "Wow....I just bought Nightfall. I can't wait to make an Uber Hero group with a Rit and a Sin in there. What???? I can only get the Rit hero in NF? You mean I have to actually buy Factions to get the Sin hero? Noooooooooooooo /ragequit
Either make the Sin hero available to people that only have NF as well or don't make Razah a Rit.
BTW....to me..it doesn't much matter since I have all 3 chapters and I'd be more than happy to add a Rit to the rest of my heroes, but i am sure some people out there are thinking this and don't want to speak up.

I'm not upset that he's a rit, I'm upset that it's one more thing they said and didn't implement, so the list goes on. I know they change things all the time, but the variable idea i thought was pretty outstanding.
I have a good amount of the elite hero armor already and switch whenever i feel like it, so i really don't get the need for more hero armor. As it is I'm pretty set with the idea that heros should just be account wide, outfitting, equiping and organizing 36 or more different heros isn't my idea of a good, time, let alone the ABSOLUTE need for storage for all of them. Gawd forbid i need to move a weapon from dunkoro a to dunkoro b and so on.

Letting your heroes access your Rune and Insignia unlocks after a certain point in the game would be beyond decent.

Wait - making Razah a ritualist is wrong! People who only have nightfall can;t give the poor hero skills.
Zenmai is only unlockable when a player owns Factions, so that's settled, but the Ritualist is also for Nightfall-only players?
Hmmmmm that sucks...

Who even uses their heroes? Let alone LOOK at them. The only time you could look at the armor is in a zone. You're either a) fighting, which you should be looking at what's going on, not your hero's armor! or b) standing around in a zone, watching your hero's armor, which is a complete waste of time.

bah I was gonna make a rit either way, variable or not, I needed that tenth prof. oh and gabrial, you said a paragon can do anything a rit can but better, I really want to see you back up that statement, I don't see paragons creating armies of spirits that pressure the enemy party and at times spike them... saying one class does another class' job make you looke like a noob.
