Come back on the last day, which is January first, the final event, last day of wintersday, final day, you get it yet? good. Come back on Jan 1 and do the dwayna/grenth appearance event, then get your hat.

For those of you asking "Where do I get candy cane weapons?"

Get a time machine and go back 365 days. You can't get them this year.

For those of you asking "Where do I get a wintergreen weapon?"
Xunlai Tournament Agent, which will be added when the rest of the NPCs are.

Yes, we're all having this "noob question" problem, but let me correct one thing.
CCS are now dropping from monsters, maybe now this'll cut down on the number of noobs in the Snowball Arena...

Maybe it would be a good idea for Anet to make an announcement in the login screen that tells everyone that the hats are available on the 1st of januari, it might stop the flooding of the same question.
