But what if Sam's actually another girl? That'd be a bit.... unfortunate.
Edit: dude you're getting a lot of flak over this quote.

I'm sure he didn't stop to think about the fact that he was doing it in front of more people than if he did it face to face. It can sound lame at first till you stop and think how *sweet* it is.

That's pretty awesome. It's always great to see how guys come up with creative ways to propose.
I have a feeling he probably had permission.

I would so hate to be in her shoes, if she said no, people all around the world would think she's a heartbreaker, is she said yes, people would think she's into cyber love.
God i hate it when things like this happen.

Personally I think thats very sweet! Its a creative way, they are anet devs and hey, he probably got down on one knee sometime after that banner. From my point of view I think guild wars weddings are sweet, as long as well done by two SMART people (as opposed to 'wil u mary me??'). Also I believe its truley possible for two people to get married in real life from meeting on guild wars. It happens on other MMO's, it'll happen here as well. Sometimes its even easier if both people are acually shy in finding a relationship in real life.

Am i the only one who thought this was hilarious. Nice delivery and punchline. And the fact that so many ppl make references to homosexuality in the game makes it believable.
