First was a monk, but since I had to use ress so frequently, I gave up on the role. Switched to an ele, and then to a mesmer, the last 2 my main characters ever since 2 months after world opening event.

my first character was a monk but i quit cause it was so...boring..
i like front/middle line action.

What's all this "first I made a an ele, but I didn't understand the game and deleted her at Drok's for a warrior..." business? I have yet to delete any of my PvE characters. I think I'm emotionally attached.
I chose a ranger first because I wanted a pet. I still haven't gotten rid of my first strider...

First char was an ele, played him for a while but i really got into my necro... and it keeps goin and goin.

1st:Ele
2nd:Warrior
3rd: Deleted Warrior made a ranger
4th: Deleted Ranger made a necro
5th:Remade a Warrior
6th: Factions comes out made an assassin
7th:Shortly after deleted assassin
8th: Created Mesmer
9th:Created Ranger(again)
10th:Create Monk
11th:Nightfall comes out create Dervish
12th:Create Paragon

Currently all my chars are level 20 execpt for paragon whos level 9.

My First was a Ranger, after I had played rangers in other games.

While later made a warrior that became my "main", then a while later created a monk who is now my "main".

I voted Ranger.
I bought Factions several months ago and I was crazy about having a pet and being able to attack enemies farther than they could retaliate (with longbows). Yeah, I was a complete noob; I even had a hard time to get to the 2nd mission, never mind getting off the island. Anyway, I deleted that ranger when I got to the mission with celestials. Since then I've had many other characters, and I made another ranger with which I finished Factions... then deleted him (did the same thing with my Elementalist). Currently I have a Warrior, Necromancer, Mesmer, and Assassin, and I plan to make a Dervish and a Ranger when I get Nightfall. Oh, and my favorite primary is the Necromancer

Warrior... Cuz theres no greater satisfaction than swinging that axe into the face of the enemy....Setting them on fire is fun too though.

First was Necro, since i was into the necro in diablo 2
Then Warrior, for the aspect of pvp
Then Monk...since everyone needed one
Then I made a Ranger and Ele at the same time
-Made another warrior for sole purpose of running (attributes, weapons, skills all ready set)
-Mesmer
-Assasin
-Ritualist
- Then Deleted Ritulist, a N/Rt was just more stable for energy.
-Made another monk for sole purpose of survior title
-Turned my "running" warrior into a mule since the new option for auto switching profs came into play
-Made Dervish

My first character was a N/E, I was going to use blood magic to steal life to stay alive and some fire spells to deal loads of dmg

Too bad Guild Wars wasn't that simple

so i thought i sucked and got boored.. then i made a warrior and after that i loved GW.. I have been playing for 9 months non-stop until last week.. today i had *1 week ago* omg.. but now im gonna start again

I've found my true "nature" now: mesmer(so fast.. i love fast stuff.. no delay on spells.. just.. fast, i love it) and dervish(i get annoyed by the slow attack speed of the scythe sometimes though.. heart of fury FTW)

Gunther Hesse, R/Mo, from day one of Prophecies was my first character. I teamed up with my necro daughter all the way through that chapter, even while she was in Scotland for a few months. He's just parked in the later stages of Factions, which we never finished, and we both made new characters for Nightfall. I don't think I'll ever delete him.

I usually go for some sort of fast, agile drect fighter, but Prophecies didn't have that, so I made a ranger. I only make one character each chapter, but i use them all continuously.

my first character and main character since i got the game a month after release is a ranger. i have just always preferred ranged characters and it is still the most fun character for me to play.

My first ever character was an Elementalist/Ranger that I created when I first logged on at the start of the October 2004 Open Beta Event.

My first once the game went live was my Ranger.
