Just something I'm wondering; What happens to the male and female versions of the wizard/witch hats from this years halloween? If a male character copies his wizard hat for a female character, does it change to the witch version?

Would this be considered the new holiday storage?
As in you don't have to hold onto 8 copies of the same hat any longer. All you need is 1 and dup them when you want to?

Err...what's the purpose?
My situation: I have all hats for my main character only and I'm keeping them in the storage (the "real" storage), because the belt pouch and the bags are occupied by multiple armor sets.
With this new npc i can make copies of my hats for the other chars.
How is this supposed to save some storage room? I can just make copies of them, but I still have to keep them somewhere.

You can always delete your masks and get them later, for only 10 gold, when you need them Mahanaxar. You won't have to keep it because of free of losing it now.

No, you dont have to keep them. Show them, he keeps the record of you having them, delete them. Pay 10g whenever you want one to show off.

Not really. I for one have only started playing after I participated in the NF preview event. So I only have the Halloween stuff so far, so I can show that I've been a part of that with any character from now on.
Regardless of which character wears the hats I have been there with the event and took the time to get it. If I would be able to get one of the hats of the events in which I haven't participated, it would be cheap.
Oh well, maybe because I haven't played that long yet, I don't value the individual characters enough compared to the complete acount

I like it
It will save storage space and make the scramble to get hats for multiple characters unnecessary

As going with my previous comment.
If the hats were account based only, and you can't give you hat to a friend to duplicate. it's not really making the hat any less special. You got a hat on a character because you were there for the first wintersday event as when tengu, Halloween, etc event. and Just cause you make a character after that date and it doesn't get to have a hat because you didn't make it in time and/or its another campaign that wasn't available to get a hat. Still makes it special, since your jsut sharing it within your own account just to other later made characters.
Now.. if you can give you hat to a friend to let him/her duplicate, that's a whole different story. D:

i believe that a copy of your hat will stay saved on the hat npc so once the hat npc has a copy of it you no longer need to keep it in your storage. ever toon on your account can just go to the hat npc and have it crafted for them.
im just wondering how long the hat npcs will be around. will they always be in kam and la? or will they only be accessible during special events?

As I read it, once you show your hat to the hat guy, you can delete it and then buy one for any char at any time. So you don't have to store ANY hat after you show it to the hat guy, as I read it....

Great! But a tad late.
I stayed up all night just to get five halloween hats this past year. I went through painstaking farming (there wasn't much, but it hurt) to get six dragon masks.
But hey. Improvements are improvements.

If I can "save" a hat showing it to this new npc, and then freely delete it, that's nice.
If I still need to keep one, that's just plain useless.

wait..... it's nice and all that you can reproduce the hat, but what? everytime you want the hat you have to go back to this guy to get another one? how is that better then just putting it on a mule? one mule can store every hat they've had so far for about 5 chars, i don't get how this helps at all?? maybe they aren't related?

I'm guessing that you can just trash your other headgears and keep only 1 of each so you can make copies for all your characters and not have to hold multiple numbers for each of your characters, this is what she probably means by it "saves storage room." So if you've made all the events in the game so far, then you have to only hold 7 holiday headgears instead of having to hold let's say 28 headgears if you've had 4 characters in the past make it to all the events. That saves you 21 storage slots. And many of us now have at least 8+ characters so we won't have to get the headgears individually for each character.
Just make 1 or 2 rounds for the headgears on 1 character and make copies of those. This will help us a lot more later when we get newer headgear so we don't have to switch characters to get them, we'll only have to make it with 1 character.
