Hey. I was wondering if the presents are worth it... Should I just sell my candy cane shards, turn them into weapons/shields, or presents? Please help me decide. Thanks

I just got a spear since most of the things iI either have no interest in or already had them.
The rest of the ccshards went to pressies.

Depends on what you want.

Prices are falling fast, especially once the shard trader was put in. The best bet now is probably to trade for presents and keep candy canes, since they are most likely to hold their value, if not increase as supply gets consumed.

I have 63 unopened presents left and 100 shards. Tough time selling them now. (What a difference a day makes!)

IMO, none of the candy weapons usable anymore, but the bow still has more dmg than the best no-req. bow. And most of the melee weapons have higher minimum dmg. than other no-req. But they're all mostly for looks and a laugh anyway. The shields were awesome before the nerf, but with inscribable no-req. AL8 shields available, there are better options now.

My advice? If you want a weapon, get it. I'll probably trade my remaining shards for presents and open them if I don't find a buyer in another day or so, or give them away for guildies' birthdays and whatnot.

Actually I didn't sell any shards traded all my 200+ shards for presents. *I have quite a stockpile of useful items.

for me, it was the presents, got some booze, some tonics, snowman and cake, but the big prize was rainbow canes, this should just about get rid of the DP when I take my guys to kill the titians

i'm just happy they gave us a way to use up the shards, I got a bunch of wind orbs I wish we would have had the same oppertunity with lol
