its because america sucks at halls and we only win favor if all european players are at sleep or work

More players on europe - both HA and GvG. Don't know about PvE players.

I should be on the american server, but I switched to europe because I used to farm FoW during the day (and HA later) and america never had favour during the day. My entire guild did the same and I know a few other people who are american/canadian, but play on euro.

As a result, when we win halls, it's a notch for europe.

So basically, the solution is this:
1) stop bitching. If you really want to farm/explore/whatever so much, switch servers OR...

2) take initiative. Make a good pvp guild, get good pvpers, play HA all day, hold halls for america all day. Encourage others to do the same. STOP RUNNING SHIT BUILDS.

I'd say that people who actually want to explore in pve should have some respect towards those who actually compete against other players for whatever the case may be, whether its fame or chest drops, etc. If you really feel there's a problem, do your part in fixing it.

Note there are also more countries in Europe, including more people, probably less rage quits.

Im from america and i feel comfortable with saying that i prefer to HA with europeans because they have more patience, and dont ragequit or get pissed off as us americans who dont get their way in the underworld.

It's totally messed up that Anet (don't ask me what I think the A stands for....) has made a head up the arse decision to let PVP'ers control what happens in the PVE world.

Can you imagine how much it sucks to be Japanese or Korean? Or any other district that can't access UW or FOW because of some dandy PvPers running around trying to convince each other how "leet" they are?

It's bull.

Would be nice if Anet actually listened to the PVE players, and made game changes/decisions based on what's good for us. Make them mutally exclusive. How many times has Anet screwed with "balances" due to nothing more founded than a whiny PvP player?

I would say there are 3 reasons.

In no particular order.

1) Many koreans (especially the more skilled ones) have either left GW or are on an extended break from it. The korean timezone used to be well placed to take favour away from europe towards the end of the euro primetime. But, with less korean teams, it was then easier for an American team to take favour for themselves.

2) A look at the GvG ladder suggests that there are significantly more European PvP guilds, and that excluding a few obvious exceptions, they tend to play at a slightly higher level than the run of the mill American PvP guild.

3) Finally, and most importantly, the American HA playerbase systematically destroyed their individual player skill. For months and months all that you would find in any American HA district was "LFG IWAY!!!!!1111one" and occasionally "IWAY NOOB! - LFG VIMWAY". I would be prepared to gamble that a massive proportion of the American HA playerbase are both unable to think of or play builds that don't involve a c-space warrior.

From personal experience in HA its usually the american players that rage teams, tends to be more attitude and crap talk when they are in teams.

Americans dont really do as well in GvG either, QQ is the only decent american guild i can think of, the rest of the american gvg guilds are only on the ladder because they play during american times where the competition is much lower, 99% of games vs unranked and hero guilds.
