... unfortunatly here comes the true meaning of the word... means a place that does not exist but instead is an idealistic society. As with most of the rumors I heard about both campaigns turned out to be true so im believing it... from what I know its about the Mursatt here let me steal a quote from another forum

probably the story is about the holy angels the mursatt and their homeland and how their story ties into the whole plot of the story. In a utopia of the mursatt homeland not everything is as perfect as it seems? Nightfall handbook mentions of 4 areas doing trade in a specific part of the timeline. 4 areas were Cantha, Elona, Tyria and the Northern Reigion.... as far as i remember the char is from the northern region man i hope i kick some char ass in chp4!!! FOR ASCALON!!!!

Whatever it means (I'm thinking it refers to a perfect society where everything works in harmony), I'm not going to believe this is the next chapter's name until I hear more about it.

its most likely called utopia... anet is not stupid and you have to be a bit naive not to think anet is doing this on purpose as a publicity stunt to create buzz in the community. Im 99.99% sure that its gona be called utopia but isn't going to be about a perfect land... instead as with nightfall it probably stands for some kind of allegory.

It is most probable that Chapter 4 is called Utopia, but that does not mean you need to hate it. It is still Guild Wars. Hey has anyone thought of the fact that direct X 10 is coming and maybe Anet will take advantage of its vast powers. Like updated combat system, better texture...Z-AXIS...!!!

So does anyone have any new ideas on Professions or possible lore. So far we have speculated about the geographic region, and races or places that will be visited, and what it is based on. However, there has been no speculation about possible profession or other pve stuff, maybe new pvp gameplay...

On the Char, in the Guild Wars lore it is said that they were forced out of their homeland by an "Unknown" force. Saying that if we go to the Char homeland there shouldn't be any Char there.
Mursaat. He was walked for 2 weeks then turned loose,after which he wandered the "JUNGLES" for some time until stumbling upona great city inhabited by beigns with golden skin in white outfits. Again can't possibly be the Mursaat homeland due to the lore of how Saul De-Alessio found them and began o worship them "like" gods
I do believe that Chapter 4 will contain a continent that knows nothing about war and has vast lush fields and forets. The people that inhabit this land will come to Elona, Tyria,and Cantha asking for helpagainst the same unknown forcee that forcedthe Char out of their homeland. Some players just need torefresh their Guild Wars lore before posting.

-A golden age getting messed up by guildwarring for power

A pvp game with old day Ascalon, Orr and Kryta maybe?

Guild Wars Utopia sounds more like a good name for a fansite to me. They might just be covering their bases on several possible names.

This is one chapter I really have been wanting. My favourite game environments are light jungles and snowy areas. I read the article on guild wiki and I hope what they said about a high tech atlantis like civilization would be awesome. I cannot wait.

Here's another theory to put in the speculation pile....

If they're going to name the next chapter, Utopia, the reason behind on why they have it titled could be about the story. Maybe not about a great Utopian city and surroundings once we arrive there...it could be about the Villain's vision. The Villain's intention is to create a Utopian society where there will be peace for all throughout the land, but his or her good intention could cause an imbalance (good and evil kind of thing) and the Villain doesn't care about the imbalance. He or she will cause war and destruction against anyone who opposes him or her in order to get what she wants.

Just an idea I'm putting out

In the wikipedia entry it mentions the possibility of an advanced "Atlantis" like civilization. This is rampant speculation, but if "Atlantis" is the starting point for the campaign, maybe they could introduce a class wielding a musket or something?

You longer need to be an Ele to deal massive damage!
All you need is a Thunderclap Bear!

I saw that! It seems to happen to one Mursaat per mission...I screenshotted mine too...this time a Jade Bow appeared as a lvl 5 Black Bear...nice touch of humour...I hope it doesn't get fixed.

About that Mursaat appearing as a bear -

not long ago I was north of the gate in pre-searing and cntl showed a warthog in red - hostile. I was wondering what would make it hostile and so I went to look and it was actually an oakheart but had been titled warthog - I already had a pet so I could not try it but I have often wondered since if it would have been charmable.

In any case - I'm getting a little tired of spell casters and technologically themed utopia might be fun - my sin could really use an uzi and my pargon is just itching to throw a grenade or two.
