Woah, thats absurd. I found a large dutch retail still selling these babies brand new for only €64,98 ($84.23). And mine will arrive tommorow first thing in the morning

How many collectors items in RL or software, or anything for that matter, get reprints or reruns?

i get the feeling that its not a large percent.

even a limited run of the proph CE would ruin is value in my opinion, and, the CEs just give fancy graphics, cant people be satisfied with the current CEs/

Thing is, it has no value. It isn't a collector's item. It's a collector's EDITION. The reason people are paying so much for it is because you can't find it in stores anymore and thusly are outbidding each other for it. They aren't paying $865 for it because it's a collector's item valued at that much.

Fact remains, the Proph CE truly needs a limited re-print. Here's hoping it happens some day.

It doesn't *need* a reprint. Some fans who would like another shot at it *desire* a reprint.

I can understand *desiring* it. There are a few things I wish I picked up while they were still available but that's the breaks.

It's not Prophecies CE, it's Prophecies SE (special edition.

Just a question: When you buy Prophecies CE and add the key to your account. Can you use the Divine Aura on all your characters or do you need to make new ones?

Just added the key, it works fine on all my characters with these keys currently in my account

:

- Prophecies
- Prophecies game of the year upgrade (via ingame store)
- Factions
- Nightfall CE
- Prophecies CE

It even gave me a confirmation screen that I only would get divine aura with this "upgrade" and nothing else (literally told me)

They won't ship outside the country, apparently. That kinda sucks. Thankfully I'm not without options. Graywing, is the game localized or whatever Anet calls it into Dutch?

Teejay, the aura should appear on all your existing characters. No need to make new ones. I could be wrong, but that's the way I understand it to work.

With currency rates, the price is almost $90. I suspect shipping would cost $20 or so.

Still, if you want it enough, $110 is a lot better than $300. If you can find someone in the Netherlands willing to coordinate this.

You lucky so-and-so! Well done on finding it though. And Argggg!!!!! It is SO frustrating that they won't ship outside the Netherlands :-((

Good thing I gotten mine when there was still a lot on ebay. First time I tried aiming for $90, I lost and that other person actually paid for $100. After that I found another one for $60, so now I have all the collector's edition of all three GW games. Still, I should've gotten mine when it was still in stores, and it sold for $49.99, but that was long ago.

It's really hard looking for the first collector's edition now, tough luck.
