non inscribable items with 15^50 are ALWAYS more expensive then their inscribable counterparts.

sit in la and try to buy a non inscribed req9 15^50 fellblade for 50k.

its impossible.

now req9 inscribable fellblades? you can get them from 35-50k all day every day.

why may you ask?

because theres more of them. ALL req9 fellblades with crap inscriptions can and probably WILL be made 15^50.

i use fellblades and a point of refrence because theyre prices have always stayed steady throughout the additions.

Ya, but this brings me to another point, something that angers me.

If something is dropping in NF and it has a skin that is the same in Tyria or Cantha, why not just make all of the skins inscribable? It makes no sense, the value in a sense isn't exactly being preserved, and its Anets fault in the 1st place for introducing an old skin in a new chapter. Don't make everything from old chapters inscribable, just make the same skins as in NF inscribable.

Message of this thread is not RICH vs POOR, it's the GRIND factor of the game is getting lesser and lesser. Making items inscribable cause the problem.

Lets say that you get a drop of a purple req 11 16/20 Cystalline. Your like "OMFG I got this cool skin yeah". The mods suck and it's purple. The next thing in your mind is to get a better version of the Cystalline. You play for weeks and weeks(most likely months) then finally got a gold req 12 13^50. Joy fills your head. You accomplish your goal. Next goal is a PERFECT one

Making rare inscribable give's you no goals in the game. Everyone wants the best in GW and RL. Accomplishing goals is what the game and RL is all about.

You know that they rolled back the update and inscribable crystallines are currently not obtainable ingame? How can you say they are not rarer?

And even if they bring it back it will take months until there are more inscribables than 15>50.

A req 8 inscribable Crystalline will hit really high prices, but it will never reach the 2000e a 15^50 non inscribable goes for or went for.

I think that the price of Inscribable Crystallines will drop, however I don't think that the people who already have decent non-inscribable crystallines should worry, because if they dont drop anymore, then they will just get rarer and rarer over time and thus the price will increase accordingly.

crystallines as a whole, are NOT uncommon...its GOOD ones that are uncommon.
with inscriptions every crappy one can be turned into a good one.

I don't quite agree with what Jetdoc that people are criticizing it because they can't have it. It gets more hate on looks simply because of how talked about and how coveted it is and it's looks just doesnt live up to how overpriced it is. It just IS ugly in many people's opinion. No I think people do say that because they can't have it, just like FoW armor. You'll say it's ugly because you can't afford it, that's what most people do. There's a certain air in the attitude towards it they have that lets you know that. Like yours.

I should add that, because they can't afford it, they build up a resentment towards the certain item. Which brings out that "oh it's ugly!" attitude. I'm sure it's not everyone, but a lot of people at least more than you think are like that.

Notice again the attitude, I said it was the attitude that did it. Not the fact that they are just jealous, the ones who say it about FoW armor or something incredibly expensive always (from my perspective and witnessing of it) have an arrogant attitude about them. Just like yours right now.

Well sorry but I've seen people that do that in game and they have an attitude towards it all the time. Maybe it's just because I sit in Grotto a lot and it seems most regular players have hatred for the people there.

But I know not everyone does it, I was also just saying that a lot of people that have an attitude or seem to hate it, they are usually just jealous usually.

I mean it's not because it looks good, that it costs so much. It's so expensive because it's really rare to get a good one, and where they drop, has some affect on it's rarity.

I'm pretty sure calling FoW ugly is at least a reasonable opinion. Some people may like it, but I honestly think most of the styles have been one-upped by some Factions and especially Nightfall armors. Nothing to do with the fact that it's out of my price range. And I always did think the warrior FoW looked like a pinecone...

Yes, people can actually think that high level armor and weapon styles are fugly, and not just be jealous.
