I used to play GW quite a bit, but now I hardly ever log on, unless it's an event in my guild.

I play GW plenty, but not exclusively. I just finished up Prey (pretty fun game btw) earlier..

I used to play a lot, most considered me hardcore even though I didn’t. But like all things the game got to stagnate, I guess that’s because I played the game to much. There for a few months I logged on for a few minutes, the event was the longest I stuck around for an hour. Now I delete characters and get to a point delete them again and start over out of boredom.
Really doubt that chapter four will be anything different it will be all the same stuff, level cap at 20, 1k a skill point, handful of the same new skills with conditions, (maybe two new classes), double damage bosses, and elite area that requires certain type of build, the normal stuff that they think is “challenging”. Which all it is will be skills overly way to powering and buffed with a special monster skill.
It’s a good game for people who like that type of stuff.

Used to be hardcore, now I'm not anymore. I have more real life things I have to tend to nowadays.

GW ftw! Currently GW is the game that I play the most (about 2-3 hours a day on weekdays, a few hours on the weekends). I don't play other MMORPGs or online games, since I dislike paying for a high monthly fee. I like how you can just leave GW and come back weeks or months later, instantly, without needing to worry about payments and stuff.

*chuckles* We are discussing the same in our guild so we can move together after chapter 4.

The very concept of "leaving GW" completely baffles me. That's like saying "screw this I'm leaving Starcraft". You're not paying a fee, the level ceiling is incredibly low--why would you "leave forever" when you can play something else for awhile, and then come back and be at no disadvantage?

Oh, you misunderstand, I never said leave, nor will we ever leave guild wars, we are just expanding the guild out to gain dominance in other games
Well, actually, most of us just want to play other games so we don't gain a hatred for GW, but to be honest, its not healthy for a very active guild to only be active through one game
So far we are also adding 2142, CS:S, Archlord (although that is hideous for grind, just as WoW is, but its free 2 play), ET:Quake Wars ready for its release and a few of my officers and myself are beta testing a few others that may meld into the guild aswell
So far from leaving Guild Wars, in fact, we are just expanding on what the guild allready does

I seem to have played 1600 hours in 8 months...I have never had 500k sat in my account so someone once told me that means I'm only a "casual player".
Guild Wars is my only online game and will be for the forseeable future.

Wow, I beat at least one game every week, buy at least 4-3 games every week. That was like last 2 years ago. But then WoW came out, I didn’t know you have to pay every month. My parents wont let me play WoW. So that’s when I started hating blizzard. Ever since I was 7, I played my first game ever, Warcraft I. Then I hated blizzard for that.
Now I heard about Guildwars and now im actually addicted to it and now I cant beat any Ps2, Xbox games because all I do is play guildwars

I have over 20 ascended characters, do I get a cookie?
GW is my only PC game apart from infrequent visits to Oblivion. It takes up 90% of my leisure time, the other 10% being assorted PS2 rpg games, (yup, am the biggest sad-act here ).
Seriously though, I still play as much as possible and have clocked >2k hours in 19 months at a steady rate. If you think thats nothing, then you obviously have no idea of my circumstances
(Like, at least 1900 of those hours have been at an internet cafe, at £1 per hour at least. So yeah, am nuts, ave spent over 2 grand playin the game a love and none of it on ebay or such like )

Guild wars is an MMO, it's massively multiplayer, and it's online. Whether it's an RPG or not is how you play it. Anyway.
Guild Wars is all I play now. Toyed with WoW, but got tired of being smacked around by a guy with a sword that did 90k DPS with a 20% chance to crit on my sorry level 40 ass. Yep... guild wars has my soul wrapped around it's electronic finger.

Not in playing time, I take weeks-month breaks and in for the casual PvE, and Alliance battles are fun.
But with the amount of money I've spent, Collector Editions, all the DirectSong packs, and yes, even bought the "SE" edition for the 4 exclusive DS audio tracks.

The only MMO I play is GW and it’s the only one I’ve ever stuck with. I play an hour or two daily, but more on weekends depending on events and so on. So, you couldn’t really call me hard core. I do play other games, but they are all FPS’s.

I started playing in Oct 2005, was 50/50 between GW and my previous game for first month and have since only had about 6 weeks off when i switched ISP (never again). Clocked over 4200 hours in my time up to date so guess i'm considered hardcore GW. Don't play any other games. Saw Assassins Creed on YT which looks awsome but probably won't bother getting it due to addictive tendancies with GW
If i'm fed up and want an early night from gw i go watch tv
