This sounds like so much fun! I only wish it lasted longer. Hmm, that's not the first time I've made a statement like that. :/

*** Um... whatthehellisthis...
a fortune teller will be on hand to peer into your future and provide you with a very real, and legally binding, fortune. Whether your destiny bodes good or ill, you can be certain it will follow you as you venture into the world beyond Shing Jea.
A luck adjustment to your character?

Do you think they're taking a line from the Holy Grail, where Sir Lancelot kills the Father of the Bride?

This should make a lot of people happy nice work ANET.
Since this event will be in LA Kamadan and in Shing Jea... does anyone else suspect this may be a lead up for chapter 4?

That's exactly why you go to the hat NPC, make a copy of your hat and throw it away so you don't have to carry so many anymore since the NPC already has a copy of it.

ANet is getting better and better each year with the events. I'm drooling. There are some things such as cooking and racing I never thought would be possible with the Guild Wars engine (hey, it can't do small interiors...), but ANet is really pushing the envelope!
Think this will be one of those annual events like Wintersday? Since the Canthan New Year has a celestial animal (much like the Chinese new year), I see room for a new animal with different games/offerings/styles each year. Like some kind of Celestial Owl who's all about puzzles? Mazes and things maybe?
