I expect a number of longer term players will be hitting 2 years with the characters in the coming months (me being one!) so I'm wondering if there are plans to introduce minipets from Elona any time soon? I'd very much like to get my hands on a minipet drake

I am going to do my 2year birthday very soon 2...

BUT I DONT WANT MINIPETS! They are not special... everyone can use. I want something special and unique that only us 2years guys can use

As gaile said anything about it?? We are very close...

2 Birthday presents customized for the birth character. That would be cool.

And.. No more minipets! Inovation... you had 1year to invent something cool for the 2birthday, so you better not give me a minipet. Theres plenty of them...

For those of us that haven't hit our 1st birthday yet... please... the minipets are neat, please don't stop giving them as 1st yr presents (20K+/- is just too expensive to buy when they don't add to character stats lol)

I wouldn't mind a Mini Djinn (especially if it is a Ruby Djinn. Something about a Djinn following me around to protect me seems cool!

According to some announcement from Anet(long ago). minipets come out in yearly sets, so the next set should come out a year after factions. but isnt there a mallyx minipet?

Honestly, some of you are unbelievable. Anet doesn't have to give you any birthday presents, they do it because they want to show you appreciation for being a customer, especially those who've stuck with them throughout. To sit here and say that you don't want more minipets and demand that they need to come up with another form of present is just egregious.

but i have an awesome idea
how about a minipet yourself
you heard me, it changes to what you look like, exactly, so if i dress up in my primeval my mini will too, what an awesome idea, it danced when u did and you can change it to look like the chars on your other profiles, now THAT would be fun
but even though there might not be anything new, be thankful for what you have, ArenaNet are showing kindness by giving you gifts on your birthday how good is that

Yes that would be cool; but that would be a pain for them to program.

Personally I like minipets (especially the fat cute fungal wallow), a Creature from Elona would be cool however but since we don't pay a monthly fee for the game I really can't complain, A game without monthly fees and cool events during the year, IMO what can be better than this!
