If not, I will use that $20 dollars I saved ...to buy 20 tacos.

i am waiting until i know this myself and also what it is.
if it has effects on all classes like my Divine Aura i will get it.
if it only has effects on the 2 new classes it will have to be VERY good before i get it

I am being patient and waiting for information too as well as reading the Collector's Edition thread that already exists. But I'm sure your taco money will be the straw that makes them respond!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMO, Anet has to keep some stuff under their hat to build suspense.
I'm almost positive the CE will have some sort of in-game bonus. If not, Anet will lose sales...

I can't believe that people are paying $20 just to have a special emote. If all you want is special emotes, maybe they should save their money on printing soo many CE packages and just offer the emote in the guild wars store.
personally, I am paying the extra $20 for the art book, the other stuff is bonus.

I hope the soundtrack allows for triggers within the game. Because otherwise, its no use to have it and still having to pay DirectSong for better music.

Wait till A-Net confirm if it will have in-game items or emote. Looking at past Collector Edition, you could bet that Nightfall CE has to have something in-game.

and i gave away my art book after looking at it once.
Divine Aura lasts the whole game the art book gathers dust.
just my own preference and whatever floats your boat as long as you dont sink mine.

I am sure many of you would agree with me that Guild Wars Prophecies was among the best in terms of CE:
Guild Wars Prophecies
-Guild Wars soundtrack CD
-a full-color art book
-Speakeasy Teamspeak with 3 months of free service
and an exclusive in-game item: the Divine Aura emote
-**a Guild Wars Logitech headset
~Nothing better than a Logitech headset, an in game emote for all characters, sountrack CD, and artbook!
I prefer something that I am going to USE..instead of cardboard accessories (calender, stickers, Character standee, pins)

I think it would be impossible to top Prophecies CE with the mighty divine aura. Just imagine campaign 6, everyone just joining the game will be awe struck by the mighty divine aura and they will never be able to get it themselves. And we can show off that we've been here since the beginning.
p.s. If they ever put divine aura in the ingame store...... heads will roll! >_<

Hmmm, how much do you think they could sell that for?
Seriously, I doubt Anet would ever do that. But, they might offer another bonus to all characters in a future CE.

I'm ready to buy 2 CE copies (1 for me and my better half), but I DON'T want to wait 2 weeks past the actual launch date before getting them. My question: Is ANET taking any steps to prevent the Factions-CE-fiasco from happening again?

I have so many headsets laying around that were free for some reason or another, getting another one didn't really get me that excited. However, the Divine Aura is by far the best emote so far. The dancers are cool, but since they are only for 2 classes, they just arn't that great.

personally, I'm not even buying from a store this time round, I'm gonna buy from the InGame store, have it added straight to my account and have it day of release...
Altho i do like the Mousemat from the Factions CE, looks cool on my wall (stickie mousemat FTW!)

I havent bought the CE for either and i dont plan on starting now, especially not with what they have revealed so far. It just doesnt look as good as the Prophecies CE. The Factions one was ok but Prophecies was the best thanks to that Headset. Even though i didnt get it i would of preferred that over a cardboard stand up.

i liked both CE, i have both. The headphones where a good idea, but they are too small for my big head. Also i looke for us to find more infromation down the line on the website, till then are going to have to wait and see.
